Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology (KNIT) was started in 1979 in Sultanpur, Uttar Pradesh. The College is approved by AICTE and affiliated with UP Technological University (UPTU, Lucknow). The KNIT College is one of the familiar institutes offering outstanding technical education and aspiring candidates as professional engineers. Institute offers UG Program in BE/B Tech and PG Course in ME/M Tech & MCA in diverse specializations and also offers Ph.D. Course.

  • Minimum Eligibility Criteria for BE/B Tech Admission, Candidates must obtain aggregate marks in the 10+2 exam and appear for UPSEE Entrance Exam.
  • Admissions for ME/M Tech will be based on the student’s aggregate marks obtained in bachelor’s degree and must appear for GATE Entrance Exam.
  • Admissions for MCA will be based on the candidates’ scores obtained in UPSEE Entrance Exam, and for Ph.D., admissions will be based on the candidates’ aggregate marks obtained in Master’s Degree.
  • Candidates eligible for entrance exams must appear for counseling sessions with relevant educational documents for the verification process based on the seats allotted.

KNIT offers BE/B Tech courses in 6 specializations for four years. Candidates looking for admission must be eligible for the 10+2 exam with an aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. The qualified candidates will be selected according to the valid score obtained UPSEE Entrance Exam, which APJAKTU will organize.

Candidates should apply online to get register for the exam. After the results’ announcement, shortlisted students will be called for counseling based on merit, and rank admissions will be granted.

Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology ME/M Tech Admission

KNIT offers PG Course ME/M Tech in 5 Specializations, and the course duration is two years. Candidates who are aspired to take admission in ME/M Tech should qualify for a bachelor’s degree  BE/B Tech with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks and must secure a valid rank in GATE  Entrance Exam; there will be no age restriction to apply for the exam. After the result’s declaration is shortlisted, students must appear for counseling with the required educational documents.

KNIT was established as the Faculty of Technology by Kamla Nehru Memorial Trust. For admission to the B Tech, candidates must have passed their 10+2 exams with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. KNIT Sultanpur Admission Process is based on the JEE Main exam followed by AKTU Counseling. Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology CSE cutoff (JEE Main) ranges 76016. To apply, candidates need to complete the online application process for JEE Main, and shortlisted candidates will be called for AKTU counseling, where they need to bring various documents for verification.

For joining this college we must qualify the UPSEE conducted by the AKTU and through the counselling online process we get the Kamla Nehru Institute of Technology admission for the B.tech program. For the entrance exam we must actually visit the AKTU website and apply online. The shortlist of students for admissions will be done in the counselling.

The B-Tech program in KNIT is available in six different streams. The eligibility is to have passed 10+2 board exams with 45% in all primary subjects and the UPCET state-level entrance exam.
