Jiwaji University is one of the best state university of Madhya Pradesh which was founded in the year of 1964. Jiwaji University has more than 390 colleges functioning under its guidance. The university continue to grows educationally and infrastructurally. Jiwaji University also received NAAC accreditation of A Grade and is Ranked 88 by QS 2020.

  • Jiwaji University offers under graduate and post graduate courses in the fields of Management, Science, Arts, Education, Commerce, Computer Applications and Law under various specializations.
  • All the programmes available at Jiwaji University are under the approval of University Grants Commission (UGC).
  • Jiwaji University offers BE, BBA, BCA, B. Pharma, B. Sc, BHMCT and BTM programmes under various specializations at under graduate level.
  • Total intake of students into BJMC programs is 60 students per annum; into B. Com, BBA & BCA program is 50 students per annum and into B. Sc program the total intake is 70 students per annum.
  • Minimum eligibility required for admission into UG courses is that candidate must have passed 10+2 in relevant subjects with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks (5% relaxation is given to the candidates who belongs to SC/ ST/ PWD category) from a recognised board of education.
  • For BE, candidate must appear for JEE Mains entrance examination and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted for admission. Total intake of students into BE program is 60 students per annum/ per specialization.
  • B. Pharma admission is mostly on the basis of merit but it is mandatory that student must have to apply for DTE MP Counselling for final seat allocation. Total intake into B. Pharma course is around 100 students per annum.
  • At post graduate level, Jiwaji University offers M. Tech, MBA, MCA, M. Phil programmes, under various specializations. For admission into PG programmes candidate must have passed graduation with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks as the basic eligibility criteria.
  • Final selection for admission into M. Tech program is on the basis of candidate score in GATE entrance examination followed by DTE MP Counselling. Total intake into M. Tech course is around 10 students per annum/ per specializations.
  • Aspirants seeking admission into MBA, MCA and M. Phil programmes must appear for DTE MP Counselling. Total intake into MBA, MCA and M. Sc course is around 305, 40 and 200 students per annum.
  • Jiwaji University offers Ph. D programs, for admission into which master’s degree in relevant fields with an aggregate of 55% marks is mandatory.
  • Ph. D admissions are done on the basis on the entrance exam conducted by the university, if the candidates have not cleared UGC-NET or JRF or SLET exam. Candidate who qualified UGC-NET or JRF or SLET exam need not to appear in entrance exam conducted by the university.

To be eligible for an MBA, the Candidate must have a Graduation or a Bachelor's degree in any discipline through the 10+2+3 system or its equivalent from a recognized University.

There are no direct admissions offered for students at Jiwaji University. The University will only accept merit scores from their past academics.
