Jei Mathaajee College of Engineering (JMCE) was established in 2008 and is incorporated by a private-sector corporation named Rageeneshwari Educational and Charitable Trust. It was founded to provide quality enhanced technical education at a very feasible cost. It is situated in the Kancheepuram district in Tamil Nadu. JMCE is a private college providing technical education; it is approved by the All India Council of Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi, and is affiliated with Anna University (AU), Chennai. JMCE offers BE/B Tech at the UG level and M Tech and MBA at the PG level. Admissions will be done according to the guidelines specified by Anna University.

  • Admission to the BE/B Tech at JMCE is based on the rank obtained in the TNEA merit list.
  • Anna University will release the TNEA merit list based on 10+12 marks. Thus, candidates must be eligible with at least 50% marks in 10+2 science streams to apply for counselling.

M.E/ M. Tech degree at JMCE is imparted in one domain. The annual intake of students for this postgraduate course is 60.

  • Along with this, it is also mandatory to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET. Anna University conducts the TANCET.
  • Therefore, aspiring candidates are supposed to register themselves for the entrance exam of TANCET.

Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree is also provided at JMCE to eligible candidates at the postgraduate level in four jurisdictions. The duration of the course is of two years.

  • Undergraduates of any course who have more than 50% marks in their course duration can apply for admission at JMCE in the MBA program.
  • And it is also a prerequisite requirement to clear the state-level entrance exam that is TANCET, conducted by Anna University as per the score desired by the college.
