Jayaram College of Engineering Technology is one of the leading engineering colleges located in Tiruchirapalli, Tamil Nadu. JCET was established in 1994 under Gandhi Rural Development Educational Trust. JCET is affiliated with Anna University and approved by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), New Delhi. JCET offers various graduate and postgraduate programs in the field of computer applications and engineering & technology.   • JCET offers various full-time undergraduate courses in the field of engineering and technology under different disciplines. Admission in undergraduate courses in JCET is based on Tamil Nadu Engineering Admission (TNEA) counselling.
  • JCET offers postgraduate degrees in the field of engineering and technology under various specializations. Admission to the postgraduate course at JCET is done based on marks scored in the entrance exam TANCET conducted by Anna University.

 

Jayaram College of Engineering Technology BE/B Tech  admission:

JCET offers a full-time Bachelors in Engineering (BE/B Tech ) course under seven different specializations. The course timeline is of 4 years divided into eight semesters.

  • The admission of candidates in the BE course at JCET would be based on TNEA counselling.
  • Candidates applying in the BE program at JCET must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects with a minimum of 50% in aggregation.
  • The candidates need to secure a valid TNEA rank as equivalent to the Jayaram College TNEA cut off criteria.

JCET offers Masters in Engineering (M.E.) courses in 6 streams. Candidates seeking admission in ME courses at JCET have to undergo an entrance exam conducted by Anna University, TANCET. In addition, candidates are required to have BE or Bachelor’s degree in a relevant stream from any recognized university. The admission would be based on marks scored in TANCET.

JCET offers a full-time on-campus MCA course in the field of computer applications. The duration of the course is three years and is divided into six semesters.

  • Candidates willing to take admission in the MCA course at JCET have to undertake an entrance exam conducted by Anna University, TANCET.
  • To be eligible to apply for the MCA course at JCET, candidates must have a Bachelors's degree in a relevant stream from any recognized university.
  • Final admission would be based on the scores achieved in the entrance exam, TANCET.
