SPER was founded as Hamdard College of Pharmacy in 1972. It has always been seen as the best institution in rankings. SPER has a long-standing reputation for delivering excellent pharmaceutical education in India. It is approved and recognized by AICTE and PCI.
The course spans four years with a total of 120 seats. It is divided into 60 General and 60 Self-Financing Scheme (SFS) seats, which also include seats reserved for NRI/Sponsored candidates. Eligibility requires completion of the 12th standard with at least 50% marks. They should have studied Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics. Admission to the B.Pharm program is based on performance in NEET or Paper-1 of JEE (Main).
Additionally, there is an option for lateral entry to B.Pharm II Year, which has a duration of three years and offers 12 available seats. Eligibility for this lateral entry requires a Diploma in Pharmacy. 50% marks in aggregate and completion of 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Biology is needed. Admission for this lateral entry program is based on merit derived from marks obtained in the Diploma in Pharmacy. Candidates need to submit their D. Pharm results for consideration, and if seats are available, admission may be offered.
Candidates shall have possessed B. Pharm. with at least 55% marks. Preference is given to GPAT-qualified candidates. Selection is based on the GPAT merit, followed by B. Pharm Percentage. Scholarships may be available for GPAT-qualified students. Eligible applicants can submit the application forms by the last date of Jamia Hamdard's admission.

Hamdard Institute of Medical Sciences & Research (HIMSR)
HIMSR provides admission to the MBBS program at the UG level. The program lasts for four and a half years. It has a required rotating internship. The program has a total of 150 seats available, which are divided into various categories. The NEET-UG merit list determines the Jamia Hamdard MBBS admission procedure, and the eligibility requirements follow the guidelines set by NEET-UG. Half of the seats in the reservation policy are set aside for candidates from the Muslim minority.
Candidates who are chosen will have to go through a medical examination carried out by the institute's Medical Board. DGHS will make the final decisions about their medical fitness. However, the final selection is determined by the All India Medical Counselling, which the Jamia Hamdard NEET Cutoff follows.

The Diploma in General Nursing & Midwifery (DGNM) program at Jamia Hamdard has 70 seats and three years. The Jamia Hamdard eligibility criteria include 10+2 with English. The minimum mark in the qualifying examination should be 40%. Candidates with vocational ANM courses or healthcare science backgrounds are also eligible. The selection process is based on merit. Candidates must be medically fit and able to communicate in English, with an age limit of 35 years.

Jamia Hamdard MSc Nursing:
The MSc Nursing program admits 25 students. It is 2 years. Candidates interested in applying must have a B.Sc. Nursing/B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing/Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing degree with a minimum of 55% marks from a recognized institution. They should also be registered as a Nurse and Midwife with any State Nursing Registration Council and hold at least one year of work experience in the nursing field.
Admission is based on the merit of the qualifying examination. Notably, no written test is required for admission under Foreign National/Jamia Hamdard NRI Admission/Sponsored seats. Additionally, there's a one-time Clinical Affiliation Fee of Rs. 5000 applicable to DGNM and undergraduate students.
Jamia Hamdard Department of Physiotherapy
The Physiotherapy Department started in 1998. It teaches both UG and PG programs. These programs cover various types like Orthopaedics, Neurology, Cardiopulmonary, Sports, and others. Jamia Hamdard B.Sc Medical Laboratory Techniques
The B.Sc. in Medical Laboratory Techniques at Jamia Hamdard has 60 seats, some for NRI/Sponsored candidates. It lasts four years and includes a one-year internship.
