Jain University follows UGC guidelines while providing admissions to any of its courses. The B.Tech courses are 4 years long, and students can opt for lateral entry if they have completed their diploma. Jain University Engineering admission is based on class 10+2 marks and the entrance exam. Students are required to appear for the Jain B.Tech Exam and qualify with a valid score.   Jain University Admission Criteria for BTech

• The applicants seeking admission in B.Tech courses should have passed their class 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks in Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry.
• The candidates seeking lateral entry in B.Tech courses should have passed a diploma in a relevant field with 45% marks.
• The reserved category students can get 5% off in total academic scores.
• Students are required to take the Jain University B.Tech Entrance Exam. Admissions are granted based on merit rank.

Jain University B.Tech Entrance Exam Pattern

Besides B Tech Courses, JU offers admission to the BBA, BSc, BCA, BA, BMS, B Des, B Voc, and B Com. However, the common Jain College Admission Criteria for all the UG courses is 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks. Selection criteria are based on JET (Jain Entrance Test). Students who wish to enrol in UG courses must qualify for the exam, and they are later required to participate in GD and PI rounds.

• Admission to the Jain University B Com course is based on the scores obtained in relevant subjects in class 10+2 and the score obtained in the entrance exam JET. The merit list is prepared accordingly. The relevant subjects necessary are Accounting, Economics, English, and Math.
• Admission to B.Sc courses is based on the aggregate scores of class 10+2 and the JETmerit obtained. Students can choose the BSc in various streams.
• BBA is available in Finance & Accounting, with a Special Emphasis on Entrepreneurship, Sports Management, etc. Jain University BBA Admission is based on JET Scores followed by GD and PI.
• UG degrees BA are available in Economics, Psychology, English, Journalism, and Mass Communication. Students who have qualified in 10+2 can appear for the JET Exam. Later, they can proceed with GD and PI Rounds.
• Students applying for BCA shall have passed 10+2 with mathematics as the main subject.

Besides the MBA, JU offers admission to the M Tech, MCA, M Com, MSc, M Des, MPA, MMS, and MA at the PG level. The applicants seeking admission to these courses should have passed qualifying UG exams with a minimum of 50% aggregate. Jain University Selection Criteria will be based on the JET Examination followed by GD and PI rounds.

• Candidates with valid GATE scores are also eligible to apply for admission to M Tech. Such candidates will be exempted from JET.
• Students applying for admission to the Jain University MCA shall have completed a bachelor's degree BCA with a minimum of 50% marks and valid JET scores.
• Suppose candidates with valid CEED scores are eligible to apply for M Des. They will be exempted from appearing in JET.

Jain University MBA  Eligibility Criteria

Candidates seeking admission in MBA courses shall have passed a qualifying UG degree exam or a JET test with a minimum of 50% marks. Moreover, the scores of management tests such as MAT/ CAT/ XAT will also be considered before preparing a merit list. Moreover, a group discussion (GD) and personal interview (PI) round will also be conducted to test candidates' social skills. 

Students who have taken exams like CAT/GMAT/XAT/MAT are exempt from taking the Jain University MBA Entrance Exam. However, such students must satisfy the cutoff criterion. If their score is below the cutoff, they must take the JET Exam.

Jain University offers doctoral courses in various specializations, such as engineering, management, humanities, and social sciences. The admissions are based on the scores from any recognized master's degree, the Jain PhD entrance exam, and the interview scores.

The Jain University application fee for PhD will be INR 1500.

Jain University Ph.D.  Eligibility Criteria

• The applicants must have a master's degree with at least 55% marks in the relevant subjects from any recognized university.
• The students who have qualified for eminent exams like CA/ACS/ICWA are also eligible to apply for admission to Jain University PhD courses.

JET scores determine admission to the various UG and PG Courses at Jain University. Students who aspire to get admission must qualify for the Jain Entrance Exam. The eligible students will be granted admission based on their merit rank in JET.

• The exam is both online and offline. In contrast, the Jain University Exam Pattern differs for the courses. The duration of the JET Exam is 3 hours.
• After the JET registration process concludes, the authority will update the Jain University Exam Dates. The slot booking process will begin 7 days before the exam schedule.
• After the Jain University Results are announced, the counseling/GD and PI schedule will be released. A merit list will be prepared based on students' JET rank.
• Students whose names are entitled to the merit list can participate in GD and PI rounds as per the specified dates.
