JNCTS B.Tech eligibility criteria

To be considered eligible to apply, JNCTS laid down eligibility criteria for the candidates. The applicants must pass the below-mentioned eligibility criteria for the B.tech course at JNCTS.

  • The applying candidates should have passed their intermediate level or any 10+2 equivalent examination.
  • The examination should have been conducted by any component senior secondary education.
  • At the intermediate level, the compulsory subjects should be Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
  • The applicants must have achieved a minimum of 45% marks in all the subjects added together.
  • The candidates belonging to the SC/ST/ and OBC categories should have scored a minimum of 40% marks.
  • For the B.Tech (lateral) admission at JNCTS Bhopal, candidates must have completed their Diploma in Engineering course and have secured 45% marks in aggregation.
  • The candidates who have completed their B.sc degree course with mathematics and had scored at least 60% marks will also be considered eligible for the B.Tech lateral entry at JNCT.

JNCTS B.Tech selection criteria

  • Admission to the B Tech at JNCTS Bhopal will be granted based on the student’s performance in entrance test as well academic merit.
  • Candidates looking forward to taking admission in the B.tech should appear in the entrance exam JEE-Mains.
  • The final B Tech Selection Criteria at Jai Narain College depends on JEE Rank followed by DTE, MP Counselling.
  • Candidates willing to secure admission seat in JNCTS, have to undergo online counselling which DTE, MP government administrates it.
  • Fill the DTE Online counselling registeration form by logging into the respective website of DTE MP. While, updating the documents JEE Main score is mandatory.
  • DTE MP online counselling concludes certain steps which needs to be followed: Online registeration, displaying the merit list, choice filling, seat allotment and reporting at allotted institute.
  • During option filling round, candidates required to select JNCTS as their college preference. Following the result of preferences and JEE Main rank, seat allotment takes place.
  • The final round of admission will take place at the JNCTS Campus

10+2 or any intermediate level examination from any recognized board of education. Mathematics, physics, and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. A minimum of 45% marks in aggregation. 40% aggregate marks for the Sc/ST/OBC category candidates.

JNCTS offers admission to the full time two year MBA course. Candidates wish to enrol in MBA degree should satisfy all the eligibility requirements defined by college. Jai Narain College MBA course is available in four disciplines.

JNCTS MBA Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • For admission to the MBA at Jai Narain College, candidates must have cleared CMAT Entrance Test with a good score.
  • Additionally, students must have completed UG degree in any stream. The degree must be recognized by any university permitted by the UGC, AIU, or AICTE.
  • The candidates must score at least 50% marks at the UG level. In the case the candidates falls under reserved category, the aggregate marks should be 45%.
  • MBA Admission in JNCTS Bhopal will be given based on CMAT merit followed by Counselling. The mode of counselling will be online and it is regulated by DTE, MP Government.
  • Candidates who satisfy the eligibility conditions have to visit DTE official website to register themselves based on CMAT results.
  • Once the registeration process concludes, DTE will publish the merit list of the shortlisted candidates. Such students will be allowed to take part in counselling.

I have opted Electronics & Communication Engineering in BE and currently am in final year. To confess about admission fee in my college 55,000 for 1st year and the fee is same for remaining years hence for complete course duration it costs around 2.2 Lakhs. The Mode of application is online. Jai Narain College of Technology & Science admissions for BE course will be generally done on the basis of entrance exam score. I had appeared for JEE Main Entrance Exam based on the valid score I got admission in this college. JNCTS, Bhopal scholarships will be offered backward categories and educational loans are also offered.

Hi, the college fee for the course B.Tech is INR 2.2 lakhs which can be paid yearly wise as INR 55,000 per year.
