Institute of Technology was established in the year 1995 and is situated in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. The institute is accredited by AICTE and affiliated with Nirma University. They offer B. Tech, MCA, and M. Tech courses. The interested candidates must pass the eligibility criteria to apply for the courses at NU. NBA accredits the courses offered by the Institute of Technology's NU.   • Nirma University's Institute of Technology offers a B. Tech course in seven streams for willing students. Their annual intake is 135 seats.
  • NU B. Tech course streams include Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Civil Engineering, and Instrumentation & Control Engineering.
  • Candidates who have possessed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% can apply for B Tech admission at NU's Institute of Technology.

  • NU MCA course is a 2-year course. Their annual intake is 67 seats. For MCA admission, candidates should graduate with a BCA degree from any recognized university.
  • NU M. Tech course has five specializations. They include Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Electrical Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.
  • For M Tech admission, candidates need to appear for the GATE exam and score a valid rank. In addition, candidates must secure 50% or above marks in their bachelor's degree BE/B Tech.

My son got 84% in PCM. How to get admission?

The candidate secured 84% in PCM is a great and acceptable score. However, aspirants willing to take admission at Nirma University need to have appeared for either GUJCET or JEE Main. However, 50% of seats will be filled under the ACPC category.

B.Tech admission at Institute of Technology, Nirma University:

  • Minimum of 50% aggregate score in 10+2 in science stream is mandatory.
  • A valid score in entrance examination like JEE Main is a must for admission. 
  • Interested candidate can apply for the course online/offline.
