MBBS & BAMS :-

Passed Intermediate Science/Pre-Medical Course/12 years of 10+2 or equivalent examination with a minimum of 50% marks (40% in case of SC/ST candidates) in English, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology took together. Candidates appear in the qualifying exam. May also apply.

Institute of Medical Science (IMS BHU) Admission criteria for BAMS includes: The candidate should have passed their intermediate science or pre-medical course or their 12th grade or an equivalent examination with a min. average marks of 50%. The cut-off marks for SC/ST candidates vary at around 40% average marks. It is important that the candidate should have studied English, physics, chemistry and biology taken together. The candidates should have secured a good score in the entrance exam such as NEET, etc. Based on the two criteria’s the candidates are selected. The selected candidates are intimidates by relaying a selection list on the notice board of the college.

IMS BHU is one of the finest medical colleges in Varanasi. I have spent 5 years of my medical student life here and I write this in order to help others to seek admissions into the college owing to the scarcity of information around it. Institute of Medical Science (IMS BHU) admissions are done offline at the college’s admissions office, IMS BHU application fee is affordable at a few hundred bucks. A number of eligibility criterions are set for aspiring MBBS candidates, such as, the age criteria shouldn’t be less than 17 years of age and the candidate should have secured at least 50% aggregate marks. IMS BHU merit admissions for MBBS are done based on NEET-UG ranking, IMS BHU NEET ranking is transient yearly. Also, IMS BHU direct admissions are offered solely based on eligibility criteria.
