About JET Exam
JET Exam stands for JET. It is an institute-level entrance exam conducted by IMS Noida for admission to its various UG and PG programs. The JET Exam is a mandatory requirement for all students seeking admission to IMS Noida, except those who have scored above a certain percentile in national-level entrance exams such as CAT, MAT, XAT, and NMAT.
JET Exam is an online proctored test conducted in a single session of 120 minutes. The exam comprises 120 MCQs divided into three sections:
The syllabus for the JET Exam is based on the curriculum of the qualifying examination (10+2 level for undergraduate courses) and covers subjects like QA, verbal Ability, and Logical Reasoning.
At the PG level, IMS offers admission to the PGDM and MIB. PGDM is considered equivalent to an MBA. Candidates with a Bachelor's Degree can apply for IMS Noida MBA admission or MIB. Candidates seeking admission to MBA/PGDM programs undergo a rigorous selection process.
The initial seat selection of candidates is based on their performance in nationally recognized management entrance exams such as UPCET, CAT, XAT, MAT, CMAT, or ATMA.
Also, the shortlisted candidates are invited to participate in a Case Study and PI. IMS in Noida is well-known for its MBA excellence over the years. IndiaToday has ranked this institute in the 29th position for its overall performance. IMS Noida offers PGDM, MBA, and MIB under the management stream. The MBA program is the most commonly opted program. The basic eligibility criteria are to have completed their board exams and graduation degree in any discipline with a minimum of 50% marks. The accepted entrance exams are CAT/CMAT and also state counseling. The further rounds will include case study discussion, i.e., GD, and interview rounds for final selections.
The BCA course offered by Institute of Management Studies Noida charged me the course fee of INR 374250/- for the complete course which is further divided into three years. On the first year I had to pay the fee of INR 132750/- and for the second year the fee was INR 126750/- and for the third or final year the fee i paid was INR 114750/- And the admission at this institute was based on my intermediate score from a recognized board. The hostel fee at this institute was around one lakhs for one year which included even the mess charges.
