IBA Bangalore, established in 2001, is located in Bangalore, Karnataka. The College is approved by ACITE and the Ministry of HRD, Govt. of India. IBA, Bangalore is known for its flagship in Management students in the PGDM program with various disciplines. Admission for programs offered under the PG program is based on entrance exam scores and academic scores. The application for the PGDM program will be available on the official website of the Institute.

Indus Business Academy PGDM Admission 

  • IBA, Bangalore offers a PGDM program for two academic years, consisting of four semesters for students with qualifying marks.
  • The students seeking admission will be based on a graduate degree in any stream with a minimum of 50% marks.
  • The PGDM courses are offered in eight disciplines with an annual intake of 180 students for the entire program.
  • The selection process for MBA courses at IBA will be through PGCET, KMAT, and CMAT. CAT, MAT, ATMA, GMAT, GRE, and GATE scores.
  • The applicants must reach the Cut-off scores to get admission for the PGDM course at IBA, Bangalore.
  • Based on entrance exam marks, the shortlisted applicants will have to appear in Group Discussion and Personal Interview. 
  • The seat allotment for the PGDM course at IBA will be based on the academic, entrance, work experience, personal interview, and group discussion performance.
  • The selection parameter weightage will be 20% for the entrance exam, 10% for a statement of purpose, 35% for academic score and work experience, 25% for PI, and 10% doe GD.
  • The candidates who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC categories will have 5% relaxation in the qualifying examination.
  • The Applicants will have to visit the official website of the Institute online to register themselves for the application process.
  • The candidates will have to fill out the application form and attach other documents mentioned by the Institute.
  • The application form fees of Rs 750/- must be paid by the students through Debit / Credit / Demand Draft and Internet Banking.
  • Applicants will have to submit the application form with required documents and fees recite to the Institute before the due date.

In Bangalore, Indus Business Academy has established a well-known B-school. According to Outlook rankings, the MBA academic excellence in IBS is given 27th position. The entire admission process for the MBA program at IBS will be held very smoothly. The basic eligibility requirement for admission is to have completed their UG program in any discipline along with CAT/CMAT scores. The applications for the MBA program at IBS will be accepted in online mode, and the shortlisted candidates will then be called for GD and PI rounds. The PI rounds will also be conducted in online mode, and then candidates will get the confirmation letter for admissions.

I have chosen PGDM course and I have opted Marketing Management as my area of specialization and I wish to confess that academic curriculum is actually innovative. Indus Business Academy admissions for PGDM course will be provided on the basis of entrance exam score. Actually got admission on the basis of CAT score

Hi,

The Students for PGDM program are selected on the basis of performance in entrance exam, academics, GD, PI etc. The weightage is given as follows:

  • Academic record – 35%
  • Aptitude Test – 20%
  • PI – 25%
  • GD – 10%
  • Statement of purpose – 10%
What are the exam required for admission in , and also the dates on which the exams conducted ?

Admission in Indus Business Academy:

  • Required entrance examinations are KMAT/PGCET/GATE/CAT/XAT/ATMA/MAT/CMAT entrance examination.
  • Candidate should have a minimum 50% aggregate in graduation from a recognized university. 
  • CAT entrance exam nation will be held approximately in the month of December. 
  • XAT examination will be mostly held during the 1st week of January every year.

Eligibility criteria for MBA at Indus Business Academy:

  • Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate from a recognized university.
  • Candidate should have a valid score in KMAT/PGCET/GATE/CAT/XAT/ATMA/MAT/CMAT entrance examination.
  • Can apply online of offline with the required information.
  • Candidates once shortlisted will be called for the personal interview based on marks obtained in graduation and entrance exam.

Admission for MBA at Indus Business Academy:

  • Candidate must have a valid score in KMAT/PGCET/GATE/CAT/XAT/ATMA/MAT/CMAT entrance examinations.
  • Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50% aggregate. 
  • Candidate can apply online/offline with the required details. 
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview based on marks obtained in graduation and entrance exam.
  • Admission will be done on the basis of academic credentials, entrance exam and also performance in personal interview.
  • Selection will be done based on the marks obtained in the previous examination followed by Personal Interview.

  • Graduation with minimum 50% aggregate (45% in terms of reserved category).
  • Candidate should have a valid score in GATE/CAT/XAT/ATMA/MAT/CMAT/MH-CET/PGCET/KMAT.
