Indra Ganesan College of Engineering BE course has five streams - Civil Engineering, Computer Science And Engineering, Electrical And Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, and Mechanical Engineering.  The college has 60 students annually for BE course.

  • The candidates who belong to Tamil Nadu and are from OC (Open competition) group must pass the 10+2 level with more than 45% aggregate marks in Maths, Physics, and Chemistry.
  • While for BC(Backward Class), BC-M(Backward class Muslim), and MBC/DNC(Most Backward Class/ Denotified Community) criteria are 40%.
  • For SC/ST and SC- Arunthatiyars, there is further relaxation of 5% as they need to score at least 35% aggregate marks in the 10+2 level.
  • Selection criteria for B Tech at Indra Ganesan College depend on TNEA rank followed by counselling.

Indra Ganesan College of Engineering Application Process

  • For B. Tech and BE courses application, the candidate needs to register for TNEA counselling online. Through this counselling, the seat allocation for colleges takes place considering the TNEA merit rank of the candidates. The candidates need to pay INR 500 for registration which is done online.
  • To apply for the ME and MBA course, the candidates have to apply for the TANCET exam. Then, they can visit the Anna University website to register for TANCET.

Indra Ganesan College does not offer admission to the B Com. It offers only an engineering stream that is B Tech at the UG level. Whereas in the PG level, it offers MBA and M Tech.
