Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women was started in 1998 in New Delhi and became the first technical women's university in India. It is dedicated to imparting quality education to women. The university's programs are under the University Grants Commission (UGC). It offers UG and PG-level courses in various domains. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University is affiliated with AICTE. The University also received 145th rank by NIRF.

  • For M. Tech, candidates must appear in the GATE entrance exam. For MCA, candidates must appear in the NIMCET entrance exam, as the final selection is based on a student's score in these entrance examinations.
  • Admission into Ph. D courses at Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University is based on the Research Aptitude Test (RAT) candidate score followed by an interview. Candidates who have cleared CSIR-NET/ UGC-NET/ GATE or any other equivalent exam are exempted from RAT.

UGC approves IGDTUW Courses, and they hold an ISO 9001:2015 certification. Recognized by AICTE Delhi, it ranked 177 by NIRF. For BTech eligibility, candidates need a minimum of 60% marks in 12th grade with a science background. Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women's course admission requires appearing for the JEE Main entrance exam and participating in counseling conducted by Joint Admission Counseling (JAC). The IGDTUW cutoff JEE Mains ranged from 695 to 21967 rank. After taking the JEE Main exam, students can apply for admission. The college releases cutoff lists, and those who qualify can proceed with the counseling process through JAC. If not selected in the first round, students can try in subsequent rounds.

The Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University fees for MCA are INR 1.05 lakhs per annum, for a total of INR 2.1 lakhs. 

What are the admission criteria for the MCA program at IGDTU for Women?

To be eligible for the MCA program, applicants must have finished their graduation from a recognized University and appeared for entrance exams like CUET PG or NIMCET.

Students applying for the B-Tech program at IGDTUW must have finished their board exams, followed by JAC Delhi counseling. The cut-off rank for the CSE stream is 49691.

IGDTUW offers a BBA UG program for 3 years. Applicants must have passed 10+2 board exams. The program offers only general management. There are no entrance exams required for admissions.
