I should have 75% minimum in the intermediate after this phase we should have cleared the JEE Main as well as the JEE advance in order to seek admission in this institute. Indian School of Mines admission will actually be on the basis of cut-off marks we have got in the JEE Advance.

For getting Indian school of Mines the minimum eligibility of the candidates should be JEE advanced or JEE Mains qualified and the lowest cut-off in the JEE Advance is 9355. Seats will be given to student in the counselling held and candidates mandatorily have to participate in the counselling for admissions. In 12th, candidates need to have 75% at least and for SC/ST it is 65% marks.

The admission procedure

  • Admission is based on JEE-Advanced entrance exam.
  • Aspirant should have scored 75% marks in the 12th class examination, or be in the top 20 percentile in the 12th class examination conducted by the respective boards.
  • For SC/ST students the qualifying marks would be 65% in the 12th class examination
  • The total fee will cost around INR 7.63lakhs.
