  • For those with more than 3 years of work experience when applying, the most recent experience certificate and other relevant certificates confirming the 3-year requirement will suffice.
  • The candidate's bachelor's degree marks percentage will be computed according to the grading system utilized by the university or institution from which the degree was obtained.

IIM Kozhikode Executive MBA Admission Process/ Selection Criteria

The eligibility criteria for participants applying to the IIMK EMBA/EPGP are determined by thoroughly evaluating the information in the application form and the accompanying supporting documents.

  • All candidates who satisfy the eligibility requirements must proceed through the selection process, which comprises an entrance test called EMAT (IIM Executive MBA Entrance Exam) followed by a personal interview.
  • The Institute holds the authority to establish a specific IIM Kozhikode cutoff mark, considering factors like the total number of candidates, average marks achieved, or other pertinent considerations.
  • Candidates deemed eligible to apply and have completed the selection process will be conditionally shortlisted for the program and receive an offer letter.
  • However, final admission into the program is contingent upon the candidate's acceptance of the offer letter and the subsequent payment of the applicable fee.
  • Both the entrance test and interview will be conducted online, and the details regarding these processes will be communicated to the candidates who have been shortlisted following the conclusion of the registration period.

About IIM Kozhikode EMAT

EMAT, which stands for Executive Management Aptitude Test, is a comprehensive evaluation tool.

EMAT measures candidates' fundamental logical, numerical, and verbal aptitudes, vital for successfully navigating the program. The primary objective of this screening test is to establish a select entry for candidates into IIMK's Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management for working professionals. This process guarantees that the applicants' capabilities align with the requisite standards through an objective assessment. IIMK will conduct the creation and assessment of the test.

  1. The test's contents encompass questions that assess logical reasoning alongside inquiries targeting the applicants' numerical skills, data interpretation, and verbal capabilities.
  2. The test's duration spans one hour and features a set of 40 questions. The assessment is segmented into three distinct sections: (i) Quantitative Ability, (ii) Data Interpretation & Logical Reasoning, and (iii) Verbal Ability.

The Institute retains the prerogative to determine a specific cutoff score. This decision may be influenced by factors such as the cumulative number of candidates, the average marks achieved, or other pertinent considerations.
