Application Process:

Online Mode:  Candidates must register via the official website and apply online for any course. The application form should be filled out appropriately and submitted online along with the application fee.

Application Fee:

  • INR 500 for candidates applying through Entrance exams like GRE/GATE/JRF/GMAT etc.
  • INR 1500 for candidates who are applying to take up the IIBM test.

The course curriculum is curated for great exposure to subject skills, great faculty members, placement, and many more. The PGP course at IIMB is available in general and in the in the Business Analytics stream. It is necessary for the students to have appeared for the CAT entrance exam after completing their graduation degree. The accepted CAT cut-off percentile is 99. The overall institute has been given a 4.7 rating based on its academics, faculty and infrastructure, social life, hostel accommodation, and also placement opportunities.

The Post Graduate Program in Public Policy and Management course at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore has set the course eligibility of graduation completion with a minimum of 50% aggregate score in and discipline. But the main eligibility lies in the entrance exam score of the candidates. It is mandatory for the students to seek a minimum score of 85 in CAT entrance examination for general category students. In case candidates belong to any reserved category like SC will have to attain a minimum of 70 marks and for OBC category students will have to secure score of 75 to seek admission.

The CAT score, academic profile, work experience, and other factors are used to determine admission to IIM-Bangalore for MBA. The CAT score is used to create a shortlist. CAT cut-off for MBA will be 99.

Hi,

  • The admissions in the Indian Institute of Management Bangalore for PGP-PPM courses will be on the basis of marks scored in national level entrance exams like CAT and GMAT.
  • The CAT cutoff in the previous year for PGPM courses offered at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is as follows:
  1. ST – 70
  2. SC – 75
  3. General – 90
  4. OBC – 80
  5. PwD – 60

Admission for MBA at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore:

  • Candidate must have completed graduation with minimum 50% aggregate.
  • Candidate must have a valid score in CAT entrance examination. 
  • Candidate can apply online/offline with the required details.
  • Admission will be done on the basis of academic credentials, entrance exam and also performance in personal interview.
  • Shortlisted candidates will be called for the personal interview based on marks obtained in graduation and entrance exam.
  • Selection will be done based on the marks obtained in the previous examination followed by Personal Interview.

Hi Sohan,

The Admission procedure for PGPM in Indian Institute of Management Bangalore is:

  • For the Indian national candidates, the selection is based on percentile in CAT, Class X and Class XII aggregate percentages, and also the Graduations mark
  • And also the Work Experience (if any), and performance in written ability test and personal interview

And the Preference of the score is:

  • WAT score is around  10 points
  • Personal interview the score is around  30 points
  • CAT the score is around  25 points
  • Class X marks the score is around  10 points
  • Class XII marks they give the preference of 5 points
  • Graduation marks they give the preference of 10 points
  • Work experience they give the preference of 10 points
