IISER (Indian Institute of Science Education and Research) was entrenched in 2008 in the Kerala State. The institute provides science education to students with a combination of bachelor's and master's degrees in science. The B.Sc + M.Sc program is available in the streams like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology. The institute offers seven years duration Ph.D. (integrated program) and a post-doctoral fellowship program of 5 years.

For Ph.D. and Integrated Ph.D. programs, candidates will have to obtain a master's degree in Biology, Chemical, Physics, and Mathematics Science/Engineering/Technology. Candidates should have secured a minimum 55% score in the master's degree program.

IISER TVM B.Sc+M.Sc Admission:

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research, Trivandrum, offers Bachelor's degree program in Science, being a course duration of 5 years. The bachelor degree program guides the students with basic concepts, whereas the latter two years master degree program will be based on the specialization chosen by the students.

Candidates studies science stream in 12th from a recognized board can apply for the courses after fulfilling the eligibility criteria set by the institute. Candidates mandatorily should have studied Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology in their intermediate to be eligible to seek admission at this institute.

IISER TVM Integrated Ph.D. Admission:

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research offers a 7-year duration integrated Ph.D. program for the students who have completed their master's degree program in science.

Candidates who completed their post-graduation in Chemical Science/Biological Science/Physical Science/Statistics/Mathematics/Engineering and Technology can apply for the Integrated Ph.D. course. The eligibility criteria for the course are a minimum of 55% aggregate.

For admission, applicants will have to attain a valid score in the following examinations like NBHM-MA/M.Sc, JGEEBILS, JEST, JAM-CY/PH/MS/BL/MA/BT. Following are the eligibility criteria for the courses:

Indian Institute of Science Education and Research offers a 5-year duration doctoral program with four different specializations. Candidates can apply for the course after completion of the master's degree program in the relevant specializations. After completing a master's degree, candidates should have a valid score in entrance examinations like JEST/NBHM-JRF/JGEEBILS/ICMR-JRF/CSIR-UGC-JRF/INSPIRE Ph.D/GATE. Candidates meeting the required eligibility criteria will be called for a written test and interview process before admission.
