IIRM is promoted by IRDAI and is approved by AICTE. The institute functions to deliver excellence in education that meets the changing needs of the fast-evolving industry. IIRM Hyderabad will offer a Distance or Online management program. It is called International PGDM. The IPGD is popularly available in 3 main branches: life Insurance, General Insurance and Risk Management.

 

For the convenience of the Candidates, the institute has started its admission cycle twice a year since 2008. The first admission batch will be in January, and the second in July. The admission criteria are based on academic merit in the qualified exams. There is no entrance exam required to be qualified for selection. IIRM Hyderabad Courses

Under Distance and Online Learning, the institute offers International PGD (IPGD) courses. This course duration in this institute is offered for a short period. The program ensures that the applicants have a solid foundation to know about the principles and exposure to a broad spectrum that will be applied to Insurance and its Risk Management practices.  

IPGD is available in three disciplines, i.e.

  • Life Insurance
  • General Insurance
  • Risk Management  

 

Eligibility Criteria: The institute will consider the candidate's educational qualification, age limit and other related factors.

  • The institute specifies no age limit to apply for admission.
  • The applicant can be a domestic (within the country) or foreign candidate.
  • The applicants must hold a bachelor's with at least 50% marks in any discipline (including Engg and Management streams are accepted), even if candidates with professional qualifications like CA, ICWAI, and CS will also be eligible.
  • However, the selection process comprises merit scores and shortlisting of applications.

 

IIRM Hyderabad Examination/ Evaluation

The selections will be made based on the marks secured in the qualifying examination.

  • Candidates should have secured at least 55% as average marks in each subject. As per the rules and regulations of IIRM Hyderabad, there is no option for recounting/evaluating answer scripts.
  • In case they still need to secure 55% marks, then the applicants have the facility to re-appear for the exams.
  • To re-appear for the exam, the students must pay INR 1,000/- for each subject.
  • The applicants can see their results online by visiting the official website.
  • Students must use the student login ID and look for the scorecard.
  • The marks card can be downloaded in PDF format.

Learning methods:

  • Once admission is provided, each student will be provided with relevant study materials. 
  • The learning materials can be recorded and printed as reading resources. 
  • All the self-learning material will be sent to the candidate's contact details and addresses. 
  • The IPGD online program teaching is provided for students through online study materials and other platforms. 
  • The faculty will also mention the reference books, which the candidates can use to get detailed information. 
  • Online live and recorded classes and assessments will also be conducted weekly for 2-3 days, followed by academic examinations. 
  • Also, even the academic exams and results will be held online. To appear for the exam, they must check the instructions on the website using a student login.

 

IIRM Hyderabad Admission Process

Candidates who wish to get admission to International PG Diploma Courses can follow the below-mentioned steps to submit their applications for the same. However, the process can take place online or even offline at the convenience of the applicants.

 

Online Mode

Step 1: Visit the official website of IIRM Hyderabad at their.ac.in/ and click on the application form tab that will be visible on the homepage.

Step 2: Step 3: Fill out the IIRM application form with all the required details.

Step 3: Upload the necessary docs and recently scanned passport-size photograph in the specified format, i.e. (size less than 500 KB).

Step 4: Pay the form fee of INR 500/- online. The payment can be made via Net Transfer/ Credit/ Debit Card.

 

Once the admissions are offered, applicants must follow the instructions provided by IIRM Hyderabad to confirm the acceptance and complete the enrollment process. This might involve paying an acceptance fee, submitting additional documents, and other formalities. The IIRM Hyderabad admission process for MBA and PGDM is simple and the admission is granted according to merit. The candidate should have a minimum of a bachelor’s degree from a recognized university with not less than fifty per cent aggregate marks in any field. One also receives CA, ICWAI, and CS qualifications in furtherance of professional business education. Prospective candidates can apply online or offline either sending the documents and a demand draft of INR 500 (USD 30 for foreign candidates) to the institute. Admission for the selection does not demand the entrance examination, and it takes into consideration previous achievements in academics. After selection, the students are expected to proceed with the enrolment exercises in conformity with the institute’s protocols.
