IIMT Engineering College was founded in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh, in 2001. Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam Technical University (AKTU) in Lucknow is the college's allied university. The college provides B.Tech in six disciplines and MBA, MCA, and M.Tech at the PG level. In CSR-GHRDC Survey 2011, IIMT ranked among Top Engineering Colleges in UP. At all India levels, it has been ranked among the Top 100 Engineering Colleges.

IIMT Engineering College's Meerut campus provides B.Tech degrees in mechanical, computer science, information technology, civil engineering, electronics, and electronics and communication.

  • Candidates seeking admission to any of the B. Tech specializations at IIMT must have received a minimum of 50% in their 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as subjects from any recognized Board.
  • The JEE Main score is used to determine whether candidates are eligible. Thus, candidates have to undertake a national level exam JEE Main and perform well in it.

IIMT Engineering College in Meerut offers MBA and MCA programs as part of its postgraduate programs.

  • To be eligible for admission to these PG programs, you must have a graduate degree in any field from a recognized university.
  • Furthermore, Mathematics should be a required subject for MCA students until graduation/level 10+2. Candidates are chosen for MBA programs based on their MAT/ UPCET (UPSEE) scores, whereas candidates for MCA programs are chosen based on their UPCET (UPSEE MCA) score.

IIMT Engineering College, Meerut M.Tech Admission

The Meerut campus of IIMT College also offers 18 seats in M.Tech in Computer Science, Mechanical, Electronics, and Communication.

  • B. Tech degree in relevant disciplines from any recognized university is the minimum eligibility condition for admission to the M.Tech program.
  • Candidates for M.Tech are chosen based on their performance in the qualifying exams. In addition, candidates have to score well in the GATE entrance exam.

IIMT Engineering College, Meerut Application Process

Candidates interested in getting admission at IIMT College must first register online. At first, Candidates must register individually for the entrance exam as per the course demands (UPCET/JEE Main/GATE) by logging on to their respective official websites. Then, candidates must complete the following steps to apply for admission to the college:

Online:

  • To apply online, go to the IIMT Group of Colleges' official website.
  • Fill up the online application form completely and accurately, including all the academic information.
  • Then,  upload a recent passport-sized photo along with other essential documents
  • After you've finished filling out the application form, submit it.

Offline:

  • The application form can also be downloaded from the official website.
  • Take a printout and complete it with all of the essential information.
  • Attach a passport-sized photograph to the application form's relevant spot.
  • Candidates must additionally attach passport-sized pictures of their father, mother, or guardian to the application form's designated areas.
  • Documents to be attached are as follows:
  • Diploma/degree Bachelor's and mark sheet 10th-grade mark sheet and passing certificate 10+2 mark sheet and passing certificate
  • Admit Card and Score Card for MAT/ UPCET/GATE/JEE Main
