The majority of programs charge a 300 INR application fee. To complete the admissions procedure, applicants must pay the same at the time of IGNOU Kohima Online registration. Based on prior qualifying education in 12th & graduate degrees, IGNOU proposes the most applications for its distance learning programs. However, some specialist programs, such as the  MBA and Bed, demand a passing grade on the university entrance exam.

IGNOU Kohima UG Admission

Applicants can apply online for any of the UG Courses available at IGNOU. After candidates submit their applications, IGNOU University will send admission confirmation to the applicant's registered email address. The minimum eligibility requirement is having 10+2 with a min aggregate mark. Selection is solely based on entrance test merit.

IGNOU Kohima BEd Admission

In addition to achieving a graduation grade point average of 50% in any subject, candidates for the IGNOU BEd program must pass an online entrance exam. The entrance test assesses the candidate's general knowledge, language proficiency, reasoning ability, and teaching aptitude.

Attentive candidates must apply for admission to the BEd program using the online application form available on the IGNOU website or the common entrance test portal. Shortlisted candidates are called for counselling sessions where they can choose their preferred study centres and complete the admission formalities.

You can apply for admission to IGNOU PG degree programs like MCom, MEG, MAH, MPS, MPA, MLIS, and others through a regional centre or IGNOU Samarth Portal. The IGNOU PG application form must be submitted before IGNOU PG Last Date. For students interested in management and journalism, IGNOU has added many new PG programmes. Students can enrol in the newest courses, including MAEVS, MAJDM, MAJEM, PGDIMM, and more.

IGNOU Kohima Distance MBA

The MBA program at IGNOU Kohima Centre is an AICTE-recognized postgraduate degree program.

The two-year MBA program is current, covers many topics, and is pertinent to today's business and management needs. Candidates interested in the IGNOU MBA program must hold a bachelor's degree earned over a minimum of three years and have earned a min of 50% in the general category. There is no age restriction.

  • IGNOU conducts an entrance test for admission to the MBA program. The entrance test assesses the candidate's aptitude in general awareness, English language, quantitative aptitude, and reasoning.
  • After the entrance test, candidates are shortlisted based on their performance in the test.
  • The shortlisted candidates are called for counselling or an interview round.
  • The merit list of selected candidates is published on the IGNOU website or displayed at the Kohima Regional Centre.

How to Apply to IGNOU Kohima?

The steps below are followed by students who want to apply for desired courses at IGNOU Kohima Regional Centre:

  • Go to ignouadmission.samarth.edu.in to register.
  • By establishing a username and password, you can register. Use the username and password you created when filling out the form to log in again.
  • Then, click the link to the online application form.
  • Include all of your academic and personal information.
  • Upload all your scanned copies of the required documentation, including recent photos, certificates, and mark sheets.
  • Take a copy of the form's printout for your records.
  • For frequent logins, it's necessary to remember your username and password.

IGNOU Kohima admissions for B.Com programs are based on the academic scores in the previous qualifying exams. There is no need for the entrance exam to get a B.Com seat.

Looking for MBA admission at IGNOU Kohima, you shall have done a UG degree with 50% in any stream. Selection depends on the performance in IGNOU OPENMAT Entrance Exam. To get eligible for admission, you have to clear the entrance exam. At first, you have to register online for OPENMAT by logging into the main website of IGNOU.
