ICFAI IBS Pune offers admission to the PGP program in management, open to both Indian and Foreign Nationals. The program is considered equivalent to an MBA. As part of the IBS Pune admission process, candidates have several avenues for applying, including CAT, IBSAT, GMAT, XAT, and NMAT scores. Moreover, applicants who studied in a language other than English during their Graduation must provide TOEFL/IELTS/NELT scores as proof of their English proficiency.

IBS Pune MBA Admission Process

The MBA/PGPM Program at IBS, which lasts two years, exposes graduates to the management abilities necessary for developing specialists who can integrate across functional areas in a dynamic organization. The course offers a comprehensive view of all management-related fields. MBA/PGPM is application-focused, focusing on using ideas, methods, and concepts to address difficulties and problems encountered in contemporary companies. These programs have been thoughtfully created to give students a managerial perspective on developing and carrying out corporate strategy.

 

IBS Pune MBA Eligibility

  • Graduation from an accredited university in any discipline with a minimum GPA of 50% and English as the primary language of instruction is required for the two-year management program.
  • Each applicant must have finished at least 15 years of education (based on a 10+2+3 or 10+2+4 system).
  • Candidates who haven't completed their Graduation in an English medium program must provide their TOEFL, NELT, or IELTS scores by May 31st of the admission year to meet the language proficiency requirements.
  • Applicants in their final year of a bachelor's degree program are eligible to apply, provided they successfully fulfill all final requirements, including practical exams, vivas, and assignments, by May 31 of the admission year. Admission for these candidates will be provisional until they can submit their mark sheets and degree certificates as proof of eligibility. The deadline for submitting a copy of their diploma is November 1 of the admission year.
  • The ultimate decision is based on the candidates' performance in the group discussion, personal interview, and prior academic success.

For candidates aspiring to join the MBA/PGPM Program at any of the nine IBS Campuses, including Pune, the first step is to appear for the IBSAT  examination.

The admission process for the MBA/PGPM relies on the IBSAT  examination, followed by Group Discussions and Interviews.

  • IBSAT  Test Window: Expected to be in the fourth week of December.
  • IBSAT  Format: It is a two-hour Computer Based Test (CBT).
  • Group Discussion/Personal Interview: These phases will be conducted during February/March as part of the selection process.

You can pay Rs 1800 to acquire the IBSAT Bulletin using one of the following options.

IBS Pune MBA Summer Internship Program

In addition to the program's core and elective courses, IBS also provides the Summer Internship Program (SIP), a significant part of its educational offerings. It aims to close the distance between the business world and academic institutions. Students participate in SIP after Semester II, which lasts 14 weeks. SIP is a platform for exposing students to real-life situations that cannot be replicated in a classroom. It demands that they experience the rigour of a professional workplace in both form and content.
