Jigyasa University is a private university started in the year 2003 located in Dehradun, Uttarakhand. The University is recognized under NCTE. The university was founded with the vision to meet the demands of candidates in the domains of Agriculture, Technology, Business, Forestry, and Management. University offers UG Courses BE/B Tech, B.   • The minimum Eligibility Criteria to get admission for Under Graduate Course is a 10+2 Exam with minimum aggregate marks.
  • The minimum Eligibility Criteria for Post Graduate Courses is Candidates must be qualified with a bachelor’s degree with minimum aggregate marks.
  • Admissions for BE/B Tech will be based on the Candidate's aggregate marks in the 10+2 Exam, with minimum aggregate marks. The eligible candidates will be selected based on merit in the Qualified Examination.
  • Admissions for the B. Arch Course will be based on the Candidates' valid scores obtained in the NATA (National Aptitude Test Architecture) Entrance Exam, organized by NIASA (National Institute of Advanced Studies in Architecture). The university will conduct the final selection process.
  • The university offers a four-year Undergraduate B.Sc. in Agriculture and forestry and a Three-Year Postgraduate M.Sc. in Genetics, Plant Breeding, and Agronomy.
  • Candidates who have secured a master’s degree in MCA & M.Sc. are also eligible to apply for the ME/M Tech Course.
  • Candidates who have completed a bachelor’s degree with the required aggregate marks are eligible to apply for an MBA Course. The selection of the Candidates will be based on their academic performance in the qualifying Examination.
  • To be eligible for the BHM Course, candidates must qualify in the 10+2 Exam with minimum aggregate marks; selection will be based on Merit in the qualifying Examination.
  • Candidates looking to apply for the BBA LLB Program should be qualified in the 10+2 Exam with the required aggregate marks from the State/ICSE/ISC/IB/NIOS or State Board. The Students will be selected based on Merit in the qualifying Examination.
  • For the LLB Course should graduate with a relevant bachelor’s degree with required aggregate marks.
  • Admissions for the ME/M Tech Course will be based on the Candidate's required aggregate marks in the bachelor’s degree BE/B Tech, and selection will be based on Merit.

Jigyasa University Agriculture and Forestry Admission Process

The Institute of Agriculture and Forestry is part of Jigyasa University, which offers a vibrant learning environment for academic events and inclusive enhancement of candidates. The university offers a four-year Undergraduate B.Sc. in Agriculture & Forestry and a three-year Postgraduate M.Sc. in Genetics & Plant Breeding and Agronomy.

Candidates who are looking to take admission for B.Sc. The course must be qualified in the 10+2 Exam with a minimum 45 % aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry and Biology Subjects. The selection of the Candidates will be based on their academic performance in the qualifying Examination. The total intake for the Agriculture Specialization is 120 Students, and for Forestry, there are 60 Students.

Jigyasa University BE/B Tech Admission Process

The Institute of Agriculture and Forestry offers an Undergraduate BE/B Tech course in six Specializations for four years. Candidates must have passed the 10+2 Examination with the required 45% aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Maths. Candidates looking to gain admission to the Agricultural Engineering Specialization must secure aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.

The Selection Procedure for Eligible candidates will be based on their Merit in the Qualified Examination. The Total intake for each specialization is 30 Seats.

The university offers an Undergraduate B. Arch (Bachelor in Architecture) course that lasts five Years. Admissions for the B. Candidates must be qualified with a bachelor’s degree in BE/B Tech with the required 50% aggregate marks from a renowned institute, and the Selection process of the candidates must be based on the Merit qualifying Examination.

Jigyasa University offers Post Graduate Course MA in 3 specializations for three years. Candidates must be qualified in bachelor’s degree BA with minimum aggregate marks to get eligible for admission. The MBA course admission at this institute is excellent. The admission desk was quite helpful in providing the information related to admission. There are two ways to take admission at this institute: through management quota or direct admission, and the second one was through entrance exam score of the candidates.
