Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute of Engineering and technology is located in Patiala, Punjab. The college was established in 2010 and is affiliated with IKG PTU Jalandhar. The college is privately funded and is approved by the All India Council for Technical Education, New Delhi. The college offers multiple courses in undergraduate programs and postgraduate programs.  The students who are willing to take admission in Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute for B. Tech must fulfil the following criteria laid by the college.

  • The BTech course offered by Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute is for four years and is a full-time program. The B Tech is available in 12 different streams.
  • The student must have cleared the 10 + 2 examination from the recognized board. In addition, they shall have studied PCM as the main subjects.
  • They must secure 50% marks if they belong to the general or OBC category. In the case of the SC-ST category, students must secure 45% marks.
  • To take admission in GVIET, a student must appear for examination and obtain suitable marks to stand firmly on the cut-off norms of the college.
  • Thus students must attend the JEE Main Entrance Exam and be required to secure a valid score in it.

BCA is a full-time course that lasts for three years. Candidates seeking BCA  admission at Gurukul Vidyapeeth Institute must have passed 10+2 with at least 50% marks from any recognized board. Along with that, they shall have studied Maths as main subjects.

MBA at GVIET is available in a general stream for two years. The annual intake for MBA is 120 seats. If a candidate is willing to take admission to MBA in GVIET, they must follow the following criteria.

  • The student must have secured at least 50% marks in graduation for the general and OBC category and 45% if they belong to the SC-ST category.
  • In addition, students are required to clear any of the national level aptitude tests such as CAT or MAT with a good valid score.

Candidates must have completed a 10+2 test with Physics and Mathematics as required subjects, as well as one of the following: Biology, Chemistry, Computer Science or Biotechnology to be eligible for B.Tech mining engineering.
