Guru University is a private Institute established in the year 2011 to provide an excellent education. The University has been established by the Act of State Legislature of Punjab. All India Council approves the University for Technical Education, National Council for Teacher Education, and Indian Council of Agricultural Research. The University is a home for more than 7000 students who work on their dreams. The University is authorized by board directors and the Academic Council of India.

  • The Academic Council of India manages all the courses and examinations conducted in the University.
  • Guru University offers full-time UG and PG courses with multiple facilities to make their learning easy.  
  • Guru Kashi University 134 programs in 16 streams where the courses are recognized by AICTE, UGC, NCTE, ICAR, and all the National agencies.
  • Admission for B. Tech courses is based on the JEE Main scores, and admission for Lateral Entry is based on merit.
  • Admission for other courses like B.Sc., BBA, BCA, B. Ed, B. Sc, B. Lib is based on Merit or Entrance Exam scores conducted by the University.
  • Admission for B.Sc. (IT) courses, BCA, B. Sc Agriculture, can get into 2nd year of the courses via LEET for the students who have a diploma in the same field.  
  • The University will provide admission for M. Tech courses based on the GATE scores and counselling.
  • Admission for MBA and M. Com courses will be based on the entrance exam or merit scores. The results of the entrance exam will be notified on the official website of the University.
  • Admission for courses like M. Sc, MCA, M. Phil, MCA is provided based on a merit basis, and LEET admission is also available.
  • The University will provide admission for M. Phil and Ph.D. based on the student's performance in the entrance exam and personal interview.

The University provides 2 years full-time course of M. Tech with 6 specializations. Candidates will have to be a B. Tech / B.E/ MCA / M. Sc holders to get admission in M. Tech. SC/ST category will get 5% relaxation on their marks and offered part-time and full-time option.

I wanted to do MBA in Hospital administration and so I choose this college because very few colleges offer MBA in hospital administration and among those this is the best college in term of imparting quality education. The 2nd best part about the college that's, it offers 100% placements to students and offers promising future opportunities. For admission in M, BA must have e excellent score in entrance examinations and have a minimum 50% aggregate in 12th. I could not score good marks in my entrance ex. Soso I took admission through management quota. The fee structure for management quota seats is slightly high, but the fee pattern is feasible for students taking admission via entrance exams and is approximately 2.4 Lakhs.

The minimum eligibility is that the candidates must have completed their graduation degree or equivalent from a recognized University.

Guru Kashi University B.Sc. fees are INR 1.89 lakhs per annum.

B. Tech is offered at GKU with seven specializations, and the intake of the course varies from course to course. Candidates who are willing to apply for the B.Tech course must pass higher secondary exams with 50% marks. Students who are waiting for their results or in the final exams can apply. Students get admission to B. Tech at GKU based on JEE Main scores.

For candidates seeking admission at GKU, there is no MBBS course offered. Apart from the medical stream, the rest all the fields are available.
