MC provides MBBS courses with 4.6 years and one year of internship and PG courses MD with three years and MS with two years. The intake for the MBBS course is 150.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MBBS:

  • The student must have passed in 10+2 examination with a minimum of 50% of marks with PCB/Biotech as subjects and 40% for SC and ST category students from a recognized board to be eligible for MBBS in GMC Srinagar.
  • Admissions for students are based on marks scored in the NEET UG entrance exam.

Minimum eligibility and admission criteria for MD and MS:

  • The student should have a graduation and a bachelor’s degree in Medicine (MBBS) from any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India.

Admissions for students are based on marks scored in the NEET PG entrance exam.

Age: As of 31st December of the year of admission, the candidate age should be 17 years or above

Education Qualification :

Aspirants should have completed the 12th or intermediate exam by CBSE or State Board or Equivalent.

Aspirants should obtain a minimum of 50% aggregate score in 12th from a  recognized board.

Institute will provide 5% relaxation to aspirants from reserved categories like SC/ST/OBC.

I have completed my bachelor’s degree MBBS course at GMC, Srinagar. Actually I appeared for NEET and secured good score based on my score I got seat allotment in this college. Government Medical College Srinagar admission fee is actually reliable to pay it goes up to 1 Lakh for the completion of 5 years. GMC faculties are very supportive and they offer us best teaching through all the possible ways and major priority is given for the practical learning. GMC hostel fee is also nominal and I stay in hostel and the facilities are actually good and mess provides quality of food.

Government Medical College Srinagar fee of MBBS as whole course fee is less and feasible there is no since it is a govt. college the fee is as per the norms of govt. so it is around INR 95k for 5 years.

What is MS fee structure of GMC

For 3 years duration Government Medical College Srinagar fee of MS will be around INR 75,000 when the total fee will be divided and cleared yearly basis then it will be approx. INR 25,000

did gmc srinagar have management qouta if have how much??

Hi, the institute has certain seats reserved for students coming through management quota and the fee structure will be much higher than usual fee also to know about the fee structure you can visit the campus and seek for the information.
