Candidates who have obtained 60% aggregate in the intermediate qualifying examination are eligible to apply for B.Tech. Admission to GEC for B.Tech is based on both entrance exam scores and academic merit. Considering the merit, candidates are invited for counselling. REAP entrance exam is accepted by the college.

The Government Engineering College, Jhalawar admission to 1st year B.Tech program will be made based on the REAP (State level entrance exam) and candidates who have cleared 10th and 12th will be eligible to apply for this particular entrance exam.

One will have to secure a good ranking in REAP entrance exam fulfilling the minimum cutoff criteria of the college. Apply for state level counseling and through the choice filling process one can opt for admission in this college.
