Being a government college this college accepts admission only through the KEA board. There will be counselling conducted by the KEA board so through that directly I got Government Engineering college admissions to the BE course. There will be no management quota seats in our college as this is a government engineering institute.

For B.Sc. admissions at GEC Hassan, applicants must have passed in board exams i.e.  10+2 with min of 50% marks in science stream. No entrance exam is required for admissions.

To get B-Tech admissions at GEC Hassan, the applicants must have passed 10+2 board exams followed by KCET cut-off rank and counseling results.

B-Tech admissions at GEC Hassan are based on academic merit in the qualifying exam. No direct admissions are possible at GEC.
