B Tech Eligibility/Selection Criteria

  • Candidates who have completed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as compulsory subjects can apply for the BE program at GCOE.
  • For B Tech Lateral Entry, candidates shall have cleared Diploma course with an average of 50% marks in the same discipline.
  • Candidates who have taken the 10+2 exams but have yet to receive their results can also apply at GCOE.
  • Students belonging to SC/ST/PWD will have 5% of relaxation in aggregate marks as per government norms.
  • The MHT CET scores will be used to determine admission to the BE program at GCE.
  • While B Tech admission at GCOE Nagpur has been government by DTE, Maharashtra
  • After the declaration of MHT CET Results, eligible candidates are required to undergo CAP Counselling. The registration for CAP is entirely online. DTE will conduct the counselling.
  • To be eligible for securing a seat through CAP rounds, candidates must score well in the MHT CET requisite GCOE Nagpur B Tech cut off.
  • Students must choose the GCOE Nagpur college as their preference during the option filling round during counselling rounds.
  • If students' MHT CET score is identical to the cut-off, they will have more chances to acquire admission seats during the seat allotment process.

I am pursuing BE Course in Civil engineering and at present am in final year. Government College of Engineering Nagpur Admissions for BE Course will be provided on the basis of MHT-CET Score. To say about chosen academic curriculum it is actually practical oriented and it is comprehensive for studying. GCEN, Nagpur Admission fee in my college is very much feasible compare to any other college I paid around 27,000 per annum hence I can say fee is actually very much nominal and the total fee costs around 1 Lakh hence the fee is reasonable and worth of paying it

Government College Of Engineering Nagpur will accept MHTCET scores to qualify for B-Tech admissions. The overall cut-off percentile is 74.86 to 95.69. 

Can I get direct admission to the B-Tech engineering program at GEC Nagpur?

There are no direct or management quota seats available in GCE Nagpur, applicants must have secured valid academic marks followed by entrance exam performance. 

Can I know the B-Tech CSE cut-off rank for GCE Nagpur admissions?

Students willing to get B-Tech admissions at GCE Nagpur must have passed board exams with PCM subjects as mandatory. However, the selections will be based on MHT CET scores. Direct admissions are not available in this college.  

I want to know the selection criteria for B-Tech admissions at GCE Nagpur.

Students looking for a B-Tech program at the Government College Of Engineering must have passed 10+2 exams with at least 50% or more in PCM subjects. The selection process will depend on JEE Main (national level) or MHT CET (State level) with valid scores.
