The College is popularly known as GCEM, started in 1984 by Mr. C.Gopalan, an architect located in Bangalore, Karnataka. The College is a part of the renowned Gopalan Group, which offers programs in Engineering and Management. The College has grown to become an excellent education provider. The College currently offers to BE courses under the UG program. Admission for the offered courses will be based on entrance and academic scores. The application form will be available online and offline to the students applying for desired programs.

Gopalan College of Engineering and Management BE Admission 

  • GCEM offers BE courses for four years with four disciplines to the students who have scored minimum marks in 10+2.  
  • The applicants seeking admission for BE course at GCEM must have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics as main subjects.
  • The applicants will have to clear the KCET entrance exam with qualifying marks to get the BE course at GCEM.
  • The students will have to reach KECT cut-off score to get admission to BE program.
  • The applicants who have cleared the entrance exam will have to appear in a counseling session.
  • Based on the entrance scores and counseling performance.
  • The students can then visit the official website of the College to finish the other admission process to get seats.  
  • The students who belong to SC/ ST/ OBC and other minor categories will get a 5% relaxation on the total percentage.

Yes, certain seats for Engineering admission are available under Gopalan Engineering College Bangalore Management Quota. Candidates who don't satisfy the required cutoff criteria have an option to apply for direct admission. However, you should have attempted either KCET or COMEDK.

B.E. admission requires the candidates to have a minimum of 45% marks in 10+2, with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects. Selection in B.E is done on the basis of KCET.
