It was established in 1985 and has since gained a reputation for providing quality education to its students. Goa University B. Tech admission

For admission to the Goa University Engineering Courses, Interested students are mandated to secure at least 45% aggregate marks in their 12th exams, and that too in some specified subjects such as Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Computer Applications.

  • Moreover, students who obtained a polytechnic diploma from an AICTE-approved institute or those who have obtained a B. Sc degree in Mathematics can also apply to Goa University Lateral Entry B Tech.
  • However, the final merit list will be determined by the scores obtained by students in the entrance exam, i.e., GCET (Goa Common Entrance Test).

Goa University B. Arch & B. Pharm Admission

The B. Arch and B. Pharm are quite popular among the full-time Goa University UG Courses due to their industry relevance and placement statistics.

Candidates applying for B Arch must appear for the NATA or JEE Main Paper 2 Entrance Exam. Moreover, students must have passed their previous qualifying exams with at least 50% aggregate marks in Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, and English.

Students seeking admission to the B Pharm at Goa University should have studied Biology and Chemistry as main subjects at the 10+2 level. The minimum qualifying marks should be above 50%. Moreover, there is a 5% mark relaxation for students belonging to reserved categories such as OBC, ST, SC, and Pwd. However, students should mandatorily take the GCET exam.

Goa University M. Tech admission

Admission to M Tech in Goa University requires students to pass their previous qualifying Bachelor's degree exams with at least 55% aggregate marks, and that too in relevant B. Tech or B. E. degree courses. Not only shall the issuing authority get a UGC Approved university, but the degree issued must be in a similar domain in which the student is applying for a Master's.

Lastly, taking the GATE exam and submitting its scores is mandatory. Students must apply along with a scorecard before Goa University admission's last date.

Suppose students applying for BCA admission in Goa University must have studied Mathematics as the main subject in the 10+2 level. Goa University BA, BBA, and B. Com Admission

The BBA in Goa University, along with the BA and B. Com, are full-time, three-year programs open to students from all streams as long as they have passed their qualifying school exams with at least 45% aggregate marks.

Moreover, there is a 5% mark relaxation for students who belong to reserved categories such as ST, SC, OBC, and PWD. Admissions are offered based on merit. Thus, the Goa University Merit list will be created by compiling the scores of 10+2.

Goa University MBBS Admission

The full-time 5 years long MBBS course mandates applicants to sit for the NEET UG exam. Moreover, it is important that they pass their class 12th exams with at least 60% marks and that too from an approved board. Applicants who have studied subjects like Biology will be preferred. In contrast, the seat allotment process takes place through NEET Counselling.

Goa Medical College and Hospital is affiliated with Goa University. It offers MBBS. Thus, the cutoff is 5832. Those students who satisfy the cutoff criteria can get seats during the allotment process.

Goa University BDS, BAMS, and BHMS Admission

Like the full-time MBBS course, the 4 years long BDS, BAMS, and BHMS courses also require applicants to take the NEET UG exam and participate in the NEET UG counseling. Furthermore, students must secure at least 60% aggregate marks in their 10+2 level to be eligible for the admission rounds.

Those who studied subjects like Biology and Chemistry under any recognized board will be preferred. However, no 5% marks will be relaxed for students belonging to the centrally reserved categories.

Goa University UG Admission

As mentioned, Goa University offers multiple full-time UG and integrated courses. Moreover, students must have passed their 12th exams with at least 45% aggregate marks in relevant subjects and from recognized boards. A 5% mark relaxation will be given to applicants from scheduled castes.

MBA in Goa University is a full-time 2 years long course offered only to those students who have taken the CAT, CMAT, or XAT exam, followed by participating in group discussions and personal interviews. The University will also analyze the applicant's performance in the extracurricular domain and their work experiences.

Lastly, the basic eligibility criteria for the full-time MBA program are securing at least 50% aggregate marks in the qualifying Bachelor's degree exams and that from a  UGC Approved university. MBA is available in General and Financial Management.

Goa University M. Sc Admission

Interested applicants seeking admission to the fill-time 2 years long Goa University M. Sc courses must secure more than 45% aggregate marks in their Bachelor's degree exams. Moreover, these exams must have been conducted by a competent authority such as a UGC Approved institution. The Goa University M. Sc in food technology is a popular course under the full-time M. Sc program.

Candidates who have completed their Bachelor's in the same stream will be given preference. Final admission will be based on the entrance test GU-ART. Goa University MA and MCA Admission

Goa University allows students to seek admission to various full-time, 2-year-long PG programs, given that they have obtained a relevant Bachelor's degree from a UGC-approved institution. However, most of these courses accept students based on their previous merit. As per the guidelines, the Goa University Ph. D program is a full-time 5 years long course open to all those students who have completed their Master's from a UGC Approved university and that too with more than 55% aggregate marks. Applicants with a common domain for their Master's and Doctorate will be preferred.

Apart from securing basic merit, applicants must also take the GU-PET exam, i.e. Goa University Ph. D Entrance Test. Those who have already taken a few exams like NET JRF/ GATE/ GPAT/ CSIR NET will be exempted from taking the exam. However, those who sat for the latter exams will be preferred over those who applied to the GU-PET examination.

Goa University fee structure for BA course costs approx. INR 1,600 per annum hence the entire course duration fee expenses up to INR 4,800.

Candidates should fill the application form before November and by the month of February Goa University Executive MBA admissions will be done and from the 1st week of April classes will be commenced.
