Global Institute of Management and Emerging Technologies was formed in 2008 by Dr Akashdeep Singh and Dr B. S. Chandi. Since its inception, the college has grown and is well-known for providing superior education. Outstanding academics have always led the college. GIMET aims to achieve a leadership position among the best colleges by giving good education and fair opportunities. The college's mission is to provide affordable, quality education. The college's primary goal is to provide inexpensive education to satisfy the demands of youth. In addition, it prepares students for professional interactions at both the international and national levels. The college offers different UG and PG full-time courses.

Global Institute of Management and Emerging Technologies MBA Admission

  • To be admitted to an MBA program at GIMET, the student must have a bachelor's degree with at least a 50% grade average.
  • For the admission examination, students must have at least 50% of their final grade.
  • The GIMET is a two-year full-time course. In addition, GIMET provides four specialization courses for MBAs.
  • The selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance test. Therefore, it accepts the valid scores of the CAT Entrance Exam.
  • In addition to the entrance test, the college conducts group meetings and interviews before acceptance.

At the UG level, GIMET provides a Bachelor of Technology degree in a wide range of specialties.

  • GIMET provides three specialization courses in B. TECH.
  • To be eligible for B Tech admission at GIMET, applicants must have at least a 45 percent grade average in PCM during their 10+2 years.
  • The candidates will be selected based on their 10+2 aggregate marks and entrance test scores. Thus, applicants have to attend the JEE Main Entrance Test to secure a B Tech admission seat.

  • GIMET offers admission to the M Tech in three streams. The total intake for M Tech is 24 seats.
  • Candidates willing to apply for M Tech at GIMET must have done their UG degree BE/B Tech in the concerned stream.
  • The selection of the candidates depends on their performance in the GATE Entrance Test.

  • Along with MBA & M Tech courses, GIMET offers admission to the MCA at the UG level for three years.
  • Students must hold a bachelor's degree in computer science, BCA/BSc, to be admitted to the MCA at GIMET.
  • The minimum qualifying mark is 60%. In the case of SC/ST, they can acquire a minimum of 55%.

The course curriculum is AICTE-approved, and the institute is affiliated with IKGPTU, Jalandhar. Students must have completed their UG degree of at least 3 years from a UGC-approved university. The program is available in HR, Marketing, and Finance Management streams. Qualified candidates can apply to GIMET using the official website and paying specified form fees, respectively. During the program, students are given internship opportunities, and by the end they can secure jobs in top companies with the help of placement cells.

I have opted BE/B Tech in Information Technology specialization. I wish to say it is the good college for pursuing engineering studies. Global Institute of Management and Emerging Technologies admissions process is good and I din gave any entrance exam I directly got admission on the basis of 12th marks and I choosed this college because of the good placement assistance and also the facilities are quite good in our college and also I attended the personal interview and got selected. Admission fee is also feasible compare to other college and it is of convenient for paying. Overall I can suggest it for pursuing engineering
