GIBS Business School Bangalore Campus was established in 2014. It is a private institute of international standards that MHRD, Govt of India, and the AIU accredit. Within a short period, it has successfully built its reputation as one of the Best B Schools in Bangalore.

The institute offers undergraduate and postgraduate level courses. In addition, it offers a three-year BBA and two-year full-time PGDM in various specializations. GIBS Bangalore admission is granted based on academic merit and entrance test. Admission to the PGDM is based on the scores obtained in the national/state-level exams such as CAT, XAT, GMAT, CMAT, ATMA, KMAT, or KPGCET. GIBS Business School Bangalore Undergraduate Courses

GIBS offers admission to the BBA in three streams. This course duration is 3 years.

  • Candidates wishing to apply for GIBS Bangalore BBA admission must satisfy the eligibility criteria defined by the college.
  • Completion of HSC (10+2 level) in any recognized Board or Council in any discipline. The minimum aggregate mark is 60%. There is a relaxation of 5% for the reserved categories.
  • Students appearing in their PUC / 12th  can also apply. However, they must have passed within an admission date with a minimum of 60% marks in their class 12th.
  • NRI candidates can apply for admission based on their prior academic records. In addition, they have to appear for the group discussion and personal interview as a part of the selection criteria.

GIBS Bangalore PGDM Eligibility

  • Applicants shall have completed a Bachelor's degree (10+2+3 or 4) with at least 50% marks in any stream from the universities AICTE, UGC, or AIU recognize.
  • Applicants can apply based on their scores in entrance tests such as CAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, MAT, ATMA, PGCET tests & NMAT by GMAC.
  • Applicants with work experience and additional educational qualifications will receive extra weightage.
  • Those who have attempted their final year examinations may also apply.
  • NRI/company-sponsored applicants can apply for admission based on their past academic records. Additionally, they are required to appear for group discussions and personal interviews.

GIBS Business School Bangalore Application Process

The candidates have to fill out the application form online. The steps to apply for admission to a particular course are mentioned below:

  • Visit the official website of the college (www.gibs.edu.in).
  • Go to the GIBS Bangalore application form and complete all the required details.
  • After that, scan and upload the required documents.
  • Once the application is submitted, the GIBS interview panel will contact you within 48 hours.
  • Candidates can pay the application fees either online or offline.
  • Deposit the application fee of Rs. 850 (PGDM) & Rs. 500 (BBA) either by demand draft (DD) or bank transfer. The bank details are mentioned below:

GIBS Business School offers a PGDM program for the duration of 2 years. PGDM curriculum is equivalent to MBA course outcome. The eligibility is to have passed graduation with 50% marks in any stream. Selections depend on CAT, MAT, XAT, CMAT, GMAT, ATMA, or state CET scores. Candidates need to apply online for the MBA/PGDM admission to the Global Institute of Business Studies through the official website. After the candidates are shortlisted, they will be called for group counseling that will be conducted by the college, followed by PI rounds.

I can say that the admission fee over here is reasonable in terms of facility and quality of education. GIBS Business School admissions for MBA courses will be usually given based on the entrance exam. I got admission based on a CAT score.

GIBSBS offers a PGDM program that is equivalent to an MBA outcome. GIBS Bangalore cut-off for the MBA program will consider ATMA and MAT entrance exam scores. The accepted MAT score is 64.

GIBS offers PGDM equivalent to an MBA. The course specializations offered at GIBS are General, Finance, Marketing, Human Resources, and Operations Management.

GIBS B School fee structure for MBA costs around INR 7.25 lakhs. However, the fee can be paid academic yearly wise or semester wise.
