Galgotias University is named for ranking among India's top private universities, offering bachelor's and master's degrees in various relevant streams. Galgotias University conducts an entrance examination, and candidates must appear to seek admission at Galgotias University. Once the entrance exam is done and the results are declared, Galgotias University will release the admission forms. 

To apply for any program, candidates must pass the previous education in a relevant stream with a minimum aggregate of marks. To seek admission to particular programs, candidates must appear for related entrance exams.

Galgotias University admissions to UG courses will be granted based on the candidate's marks in the +2 level. A few of the courses are based on the entrance examination score. GEEE is the university's entrance test for candidates to appear and score to seek admission. Candidates can appear for JEE Main or GEEE and merit academics to enter Galgotias University.

Galgotias University B.Tech Admission

  • GU offers B Tech in various disciplines at the UG level. Students who have passed 10+2 with a minimum of 50% in PCM subjects can apply for B Tech admission in Galgotias. They shall have passed 60% aggregate marks overall in 12th.
  • Besides, candidates must appear for GEEE.
  • Suppose candidates with a valid JEE Main score are eligible to apply for Direct Admission. Such candidates will be exempted from GEEE.
  • They can fill out the application form directly on the website.

Galgotias University MBA Admission

  • Candidates who have finished their UG degree can apply for admission to the MBA program.
  • The entrance exam to offer admission to the MBA is GUMAT.
  • Students with valid CAT, GMAT, CMAT, MAT, or NAT scores can apply directly without attempting the GUMAT. However, they must meet the Galgotias MBA cut-off criteria.
  • For example, Galgotias' CAT cut-off is in the 50 percentile. To be eligible, Students must score above or equivalent to the cut-off.
  • Students who have secured below the cut-off scores must appear for GUMAT. Note that the cut-off scores vary for each exam.

Galgotias University Admissions of LLM, MCA, M.Com, M.Tech, MPT, M.Lib, M.Pharm, M.Sc. and M.Ed.:

Several programs are offered under the PG level in different field areas. Candidates must graduate with minimum aggregate marks in the relevant stream to apply for the required program. For a few courses that do not have entrance exams, Galgotias University admissions to those programs will merit graduation. The final list of shortlisted candidates will be released in June of every year.

Galgotias University Application Process

The mode of application form-filling procedure is online as well as offline. Suppose students undertaking Galgotias Entrance Exams such as GUMAT /GEEE/ GULSAT have to make the registration online before attempting the exam.

Online application form:

  • Visit the official website.
  • The "Apply Now" option will be on the home page screen.
  • First, you must register by entering the details such as Name, Email Address, Mobile Number, State, and City, and then choose the course/specialization.
  • Then click on "Register". Upon successful registration, you will receive the verification mail.
  • You need to confirm the verification mail. Then, continue to fill out the application form. 
  • In the next step, upload all the scanned images of important documents.
  • Make the payment of INR 1100 as an application fee.

Offline Mode:

  • Candidates must visit the university to register for any course and complete the application form.
  • Provide all the documents and certificates, and pay through a demand draft of the same amount favoring the Galgotias University admission office.

The eligible applicants can apply for the B-Tech program by submitting an online application form by visiting the official University of Galgotias University. They must pay the form fees of INR 1200 to complete the process.
