Admission in Ethiraj College for Women 2025: Date, Cutoff, Eligibility

The Institute of ECW came into existence in the year 1948 by V. L. Ethiraj. ECW is an autonomous Institute managed by the Ethiraj College Trust. The College is a self-supporting and self-financed Institute that offers Undergraduate and Postgraduate level courses. The courses are provided in two categories that are MBA and MCA.

ECW admission for PG courses is based on TANCET examination scores. Students applying through CBSE or any other board will be considered under the LATE application category as the results are announced ten days late. Candidates applying for UG or PG course will have to fill the application form online or download it from the website.

• Admission for aided and self-supporting courses under UG and PG is based on Merit marks obtained by the students in the qualifying exam.
• Admission for MBA and MCA at ECW is based on TANCET entrance exam scores.
• TANCET is an entrance exam conducted by Anna University for MBA / M. Tech or MCA admission to colleges in Tamil Nadu.
• Candidates of SC / ST who are applying for Aided courses will be exempted from paying application fees.
• Students of the SC /ST category will get 5% relaxation in the total percentage.

Ethiraj College for Women UG Admission 

The College offers B.Com, BA, and B.Sc courses under aided category and BBA, B.Com (Hons), BA, B.Com (gen), and B.Sc under the self-supportive level.

• ECW also offers BCA course under UG level, and the duration for all UG courses will be three years.
• Eligibility for UG course at ECW, candidates must have passed in 10+2 exam in relevant field with 50% marks.
• Admission for the UG course is aided, and self-supportive at ECW depends on marks obtained in Merit.

Ethiraj College for Women PG Admission

ECW offers several PG courses in various fields like science, Arts and Commerce. In addition, courses like M.Sc, MA and M.Com is offered under Aided and self-supporting area.

• Eligibility for PG course at ECW, students must have passed bachelor's degree in relevant field from a recognized board.
• Admission for the PG course at EWC depends on essential marks scored in the UG exam.

Ethiraj College for Women MBA and MCA Admission

The Institute of ECW offers MBA and MCA course under the PG program. The course is offered for two and three years with various specializations.

• Eligibility for MBA course at ECW, candidates must have passed Bachelor’s degree from a recognized board.
• Admission for MBA at ECW is based on the TANCET entrance exam conducted by Anna University.
• Eligibility for MCA course at ECW, applicants must have passed UG degree in any stream.
• Admission for MCA at ECW is based on the TANCET examination conducted by AU.

Ethiraj College for Women Application Process

The application form for UG and PG course is made available on the official website. Candidates can either fill the form online or download the form and fill it manually.

• Students will have to fill the application form as per the details asked by the college.
• Applicants will have to choose the subjects of their choice and enter the marks scores in academics.
• Candidates will have to check the information given in the application form.
• After successfully filling the application form, candidates must pay the application form fees via Net banking or DD.
• Applicants can submit the application form of ECW with fees receipt.
