Dr Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth provides prospective students a B.Tech curriculum specialising in the discipline of Agriculture at the undergraduate level. The four-year B.Tech programme has a total duration of four years.

  • Candidates must have completed 10+2 in order to be considered for admission to the B.Tech programme.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English are required for Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination.
  • Admission to the B.Tech programme is based on the results of the previous qualifying test.

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth UG Admission

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth provides undergraduate courses in Agriculture, Forestry, Food Technology, and other topics, as well as a variety of specialized subjects. All of these specialist courses are available for four years.

  • Candidates must pass the Maharashtra State Board of Higher Secondary Education or an equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English to be admitted to the UG courses.
  • Admission to UG programs is based on performance in the pre-qualifying examination. 15 percent of total seats for all U.G. Courses will be reserved to be filled from all over India through the ICAR's Common Entrance Examination in New Delhi (It includes 10 percent seats over and above the sanctioned intake capacity)
  • One spot in each of the undergraduate degree programmes listed below is designated for displaced citizens and wards of officers/staff advt of Military and Paramilitary Forces/All India services sent to combat terrorist activities in the state of Jammu and Kashmir.

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth M.Tech Admission

PDKV offers prospective individuals a Master of Technology (M.Tech) degree in the fields of Agriculture, Farm Technology, Renewable Energy Sources, and other fields at the postgraduate level. Regular students will complete the M. Tech. program in two years.

  • Candidates must have a Bachelor's degree in the relevant discipline from a recognized institution to be considered for admission to the M.Tech program.
  • The Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), Pune, administers the Common Entrance Test (CET) for admission to the M.Tech program. Candidates must take the CET and pass it with a minimum CGPA of 5.5 in order to be considered for admission.

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth PG Admission

Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth offers Master of Science (M.Sc.) and Master of Business and Management (MBM) degrees in Agricultural Sciences, focusing on a variety of specialties. All of the specialized programs have a two-year duration.

Admission to the Postgraduate program is based only on performance in the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board's (MAUEB) Common Entrance Test (CET) of the particular faculty for the current year, as well as the CGPA of the qualifying degree examination.

  • Admission to all Postgraduate degrees will be based on a combination of 70 percent marks in the Maharashtra Agriculture University Examination Board's (MAUEB) Common Entrance Test and 30 percent CGPA in graduation, plus any weights.
  • 25 percent of seats for all Postgraduate Courses will be filled on an all-India basis through a Common Entrance Examination to be conducted by I.C.A.R., New Delhi (this includes 10% seats over and above the sanctioned intake capacity).
  • However, the vacant seats will be filled by the respective University after consideration of the ICAR, New Delhi, waiting list.

Dr. Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth Ph.D. Admission

The college provides research aspirant candidates with a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D) degree focusing on the subjects of Farm Technologies and Agricultural Sciences at the doctorate level.

  • The Ph.D program is divided into several specialized areas. The Ph.D. program has a maximum duration of three years.
  • Admission to the Ph. D. program is based only on merit in the concerned topic in the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB) Ph.D. Common Entrance Test (CET) of respective faculty for the current year, as well as the CGPA of the qualifying postgraduate degree examination.
  • Admission to all Ph.D. programs will be based on merit, which will be determined by weighting 70 percent of the CET score and 30 percent of the student's CGPA.

Candidates must send a printout of their duly signed application form, a recent passport size photograph, and self-attested copies of required papers by post or courier service on or before the 5th of July to ANY ONE OF THE SEVEN APPLICATION RECEIPT CENTRES (ARC)

Fees for submitting an application form are as follows:

For the Open category, the fee is Rs. 1000; for the Reserved category, the fee is Rs. 500 (SC, ST, OBC, SBC) (Applicable only in case of candidates born in Maharashtra State)

Because this is a state university management quota admissions to Dr.Panjabrao Deshmukh Krishi Vidyapeeth are not accepted. Candidates only through merit basis shall be able to get seats for the course.
