B. Tech eligibility

  • To be eligible for the B Tech course in DBACER, you shall have passed 10 + 2 in physics, chemistry/ biology and mathematics, and English.
  • The minimum aggregate marks that you need are 50 per cent from the following boards. IB, ICSE, CBSE, State, or any other equivalent board.
  • If you have any disability or are from a backward class, your aggregate should be 45 per cent at a minimum.
  • Students who have completed their diploma in a concerned stream can apply for B Tech Lateral Entry.

B. Tech selection procedure

  • To be selected B Tech admission in Ambedkar College Nagpur, you must qualify in JEE Main / MHT – CET.
  • Maharashtra Domicile Students have to undertake MHT CET conducted by a competent authority.
  • While, All India Candidature Students, J & K Migrant Students can apply through JEE Main score.
  • Admission to the B Tech at DBACER is provided as per the rules set by DTE, Maharashtra.
  • Students who have qualified in entrance exams must register for CAP Counselling. Then, through CAP rounds, the seat will be allotted for the students.
  • Additionally, students must score in the MHT CET entrance exam as identical to the DBACER B Tech cut off criteria.

I can say admission fee in my college is flexible if candidates gets the admission through CAP rounds then there will be quite deduction in fee and for SC/ST/OBC Category there will be 50% concession in fee and also there is an option to pay the fee in installment also. Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar College of Engineering and Research Admission for BE will be given on the basis of MHT-CET valid score and also college accepts the valid score of JEE Main Entrance Exam score. Based on entrance exam score merit list will be prepared then through CAP rounds I got selected for admission in this college.
