The eligibility criteria may vary depending on the specific program you are interested in. Generally, you must complete your 10+2 education (or an equivalent qualification) from a recognized board. BLIS:  Candidates seeking admission into this course must have completed their Graduation with 45% marks in aggregate. Graduate students having relevant experience of at least two years in a State or National library OR Graduation with a Dia diploma in Library Science are also eligible to apply for this course. LNMU Distance B.Ed admission: The eligibility criteria for the B.Ed program may vary, but usually, candidates need to meet the following criteria:

• UG degree from a recognized university. The qualifying marks should be above 50%.
• It might require candidates to have a certain percentage of marks in their undergraduate degree.

MLIS: For admission into the MLIS degree, the candidates must have a BLIS degree or any other diploma degree in Library Sciences. The candidates are selected based on their routine in the previous qualifying examination.

LNMU Distance Education Examination

All LNMU distance education courses have online semester exams. Exams are directed twice a year, in June and December. The exam format is as follows:

• Each semester will consist of three papers. Each paper will be worth 100 points. Each paper will be three hours long. The exams will be administered via CBT (Computer-Based Test).
• The institution will supply students with study materials and other academic support through its distance education portal. Students can also participate in online classes and tutorials.
• To appear in the exams, the students need to register themselves online. The registration process will start 2 months before the commencement of the exams. The students need to pay the examination fee at the time of registration.LNMU Distance Education Result will be available on the website.
