DDE under Alagappa University offers admissions twice a year: Calendar Year Admission and Academic Year Admission. Candidates have the option to apply through either the Direct Admission Process through the University or via Learning Centers, as detailed below:

Alagappa University Distance Education Online Admission

• Visit the University's official website.
• Click on the admission form link, download the PDF version, and accurately complete all the required details.
• Submit the application fees along with the admission form and the necessary documents.

Offline Application:

• Visit the University in person. Or download it from the website.
• Make the payment for the application fees and collect the application form.
• The application form fees can be paid through a DD drawn in favor of "The Director, DDE, Alagappa University," payable at Karaikudi.

Application through Algappa University Distance Education Study Centers:

Candidates also have the option to apply directly at Alagappa University's Learning Centers. The list of these centers can be downloaded from the official website.

In this process, candidates are required to submit two separate Demand Drafts (DDs):

• One DD should favor "The Director, DDE, Alagappa University," payable at Karaikudi, for the University Share.
• The other DD should be in favor of the specific Learning Centre concerned.

The application and prospectus cost for all postgraduate courses is INR 300, while the application fee is INR 100 for all other courses. The documents to be submitted at the Learning Centre and the application form are the same as when applying directly through the University.

• Original HSC/Diploma Certificate or Degree or Provisional Certificate, along with a copy attested by a Gazetted Officer (Original Certificates will be promptly returned after verification).
• Student Index Card with a passport-sized photo and signature.
• No Transfer Certificate is required; however, a 'Course Completion Certificate' may be issued for those who request it.

Alagappa University Online MBA

The Online MBA program is offered in General Management, Finance, HR, and Marketing. The course duration is for two years. The primary objective of this program is to provide global exposure to business management subjects such as business legacy, accountancy, organizational skills, and more. Students willing to join the Online MBA program must meet the minimum academic qualification to be eligible for admission. The essential criteria are that the applicant must have passed a graduation degree with a minimum mark of 50%. They must be certified by a recognized University with no backlogs.
