The first engineering college in Delhi, Delhi Technological University, was established in 1941 as Delhi Polytechnic and later changed its name to Delhi College of Engineering. The University offers a variety of undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral courses to enhance human capacity through analytical techniques and honesty. It is regarded as the equivalent of several NITs and IITs. It currently offers B.Tech, B.Des., MBA, M.Tech, and Ph.D. programs in several fields.

  • The performance in the qualifying test determines whether Will provide admission to Delhi Technological University BA (H) Economics and BBA programs.
  • Admission to B.Tech in Delhi Technological University is based on a clear JEE Key score followed by Joint Admission Therapy.
  • DTU offers admission to B.Tech (Evening) and B.Tech (Lateral) programs through its entrance exam, the Common Entrance Examination (CEE).
  • The UCEED score is used to determine admission to the B.Des. Program.
  • The GATE exam is the only way to get into an M.Tech program admission at Delhi Technological University.
  • Delhi Technological University MBA admission is based on a valid CAT score, followed by a group discussion and an interview.
  • Admission to the Ph.D. program is based on a screening test and an interview administered by DTU.
  • Candidates who have passed the UGC NET/ CSIR NET/ JEF/ DBT are excluded from the Screening Test but still participate in the interview round.
  • Candidates who meet the Cut-off eligibility will be eligible for entry to any course. The cut-off is the minimum percentage needed for admission to a particular course at Delhi Technological University. The University will continue to issue cut-off lists until all seats in associated colleges have been filled.

DTU's official website has the application form available for download. On or before the last date to receive completed application forms, send the correctly filled application form to the university and a demand draught for INR 1000.

Can you tell me the admission criteria for the B-Tech program at DTU?

The students must have completed their board exams in 10+2 with science subjects and secure min of 50% marks. However, the selections will be based on JEE Main/ DASA/JAC Delhi counseling results. 

Can I get a B-Tech admission without taking any entrance exam at DTU?

The applicants must have passed in 10+2 board exams with PCM subjects as mandatory. Also, students must appear for the JEE Main exam at the national level and secure a valid cut-off rank. 

Can I get direct admission to the B-Tech program at DTU?

DTU accepts merit and entrance-based admissions for the B-Tech program. I.e., Students must have completed 10+2 with valid JEE Main rankings. 

What is the B-Tech CSE course cut-off required for DTU?

B-Tech admissions are based on JEE Main scores. The Delhi Technological University cut-off for the CSE stream is 2647.
