Delhi Institute of Engineering and Technology was formed in the year 2009. The college is located in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. The college is allied with AKTU, Lucknow. DIET currently offers B Tech at the UG level, and in addition, it offers a diploma in engineering streams. Admission at DIET is based on student's scores obtained in the entrance test. The candidates who are willing to take admission at Delhi Institute Meerut are advised to follow the following eligibility criteria laid by the AKTU since it is an affiliated University. DIET provide BTech 4 year full-time degree programs in 5 streams.

  • The college requires that the student must have completed their 10 + 2 education from a recognized board.
  • The students must gain an aggregate of at least 50% if they belong to the general or OBC category.
  • If anyone belongs to the categories of SC and ST, then they are required to gain an aggregate of 45%.
  • The students must appear for the national level entrance exam JEE Main to grab a seat in this college. In addition, the students must gain a desirable rank to consider themselves eligible for this college.

I have selected Mechanical Engineer stream in B Tech and right now am in final year and I like to say admission fee in my college is actually economically low when compare to any other college in Meerut and I paid the course fee around 55,000 for 1st year and also the fee structure is same for all the remaining years hence the total fee costs around 2.2 Lakhs. Delhi Institute of Engineering & Technology admissions for B Tech course will be done according to score acquired in UPSEE Entrance Exam and for the diploma candidates admissions are actually done on the basis of JEECUP Entrance Exam score

B.Tech lateral entry at Delhi Institute of Engineering & Technology will be done based on the counseling based on the rank obtained in OLETR (LEET) rank, conducted by HSCS through NIC. Candidates can apply for the course though online or offline mode.
