D G Ruparel College of Arts Science and Commerce is a premier college in higher education that has completed more than 60 years of educating young minds. The college is a private college set up in 1952 and is affiliated with the University of Mumbai. They offer students quality education along with opportunities for co- and extra-curricular activities and multi-dimensional personality development too.

The college offers various academic courses from Under Graduate to Post Graduate level and at the research level. Under a bachelor’s degree, there is BA in Economics, Statistics, Political Science, Geography, History, English, Philosophy, Psychology, and Geography. B.Com in General and Accountancy, BMS program, and B.Sc. in Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, Botany, Zoology, Computer Science, and Information Technology.

Under master’s degree level, there is M.Sc. in Information Technology, Botany, Zoology, Chemistry, Computer Science and Analytical Chemistry. There is a Ph.D. in Physics, Chemistry, Botany, and Zoology specializations offered at the research level.

  • Intermediate passed students with minimum marks secured is 50% and above aggregate students are eligible to apply for UG courses D G Ruparel College of Arts Science and Commerce admission. While based on the candidate’s score in the qualifying examination, a merit list will be displayed, additional seats for the desired course will be granted.
  • Similarly, graduated students from relevant streams secured not less than 50% aggregate are eligible to apply for a master’s degree. There is no entrance exam, and final admission to D G Ruparel College of Arts Science and Commerce will be granted through a qualified degree mark basis.
  • D G Ruparel College of Arts Science and Commerce admission to Ph.D. the eligibility required is students holding master’s degree from the relevant stream. Seats for the course will be based on student's merit obtained on a post-graduation and entrance exam basis.

B.Com is a UG degree opted by candidates who have completed their board exams in any stream with min of 50% marks. No entrance exam is needed for admission at DGRCASC. 

Is there any entrance exam required for B.Sc. admissions at DGRCASC?

There is no need for any entrance exam for the B.Sc. program at DGRCASC. It requires only academic merit in qualifying exams like 10th and 12th board exams.

Eligible students with 10+2 board exams in the science stream can apply for B.Sc. admissions at DGRCASC by submitting their applications in online mode by visiting the official website of the institute and then paying the form fees.
