Community Institute of Management Studies (CIMS) is one of the leading institutes in India offering quality education in Management fields to future business leaders. CIMS was established in 2007, affiliated with Bangalore University and approved by AICTE and UGC. CIMS ranked 10th Place among the top B- Schools of Karnataka. The College currently offers PGPM and MBA courses in various disciplines. NAAC accredits all the courses offered by CIMS. To be eligible for securing Admission at Community Institute, students must clear the management entrance exam with qualifying marks. Those applicants who meet the CIMS Eligibility Criteria can apply for admissions. CIMS Application forms will be available on the official website of the Institute. However, the final selection will be based on overall performance in academics, entrance and Interviews.

Community Institute of Management Studies MBA and PGPM Admission

  • MBA degree at CIMS is available in six disciplines and the annual intake is 180 students.
  • In addition, CIMS offers a PGPM course by an expert from the Industry to gibe real experience of the organization.
  • Candidates who are willing to apply for PG courses at CIMS, must hold UG degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks.
  • The selection process for the MBA/PGPM courses at CIMS will be based on CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / KMAT / PGCET entrance exam scores.
  • The applicants who have qualifying scores in the National or state level entrance examination are eligible to secure MBA/PGPM admission at CIMS.
  • Candidates will be shortlisted based on the entrance test score. Thereafter shortlisted students will be invited to attend personal interview round.
  • The walk in interview process will be held in CIMS campus. Candidates who are not able to trave bangalore, there is a provision for attending Telephonic Interview round.
  • After the conclusion of interview, admission authority consider the parameters for preparing merit list.
  • The list of parameters include:

    • Entrance Exam score
    • Interview Performance
    • Work Experience
    • Commitment to the program
    • Co-Curricular achievements.
  • Candidates whose name enlisted in the merit list will receive an selection certificate via email or post. Such candidates will be intimated pertaining their selection status.
  • Later, selected candidates have to report to the college campus by carrying their original dcouments. They have to pay the registeration fees INR 30,000 via DD.

I am pursuing MBA in Marketing Management stream and the selected curriculum is actually good. Community Institute of Management Studies admissions for MBA course will be given on the basis of entrance exam score. I had appeared for CAT based on the valid score I took admission in this college and even college accepts the valid score of XAT,MAT, KMAT score
