CMR College of Engineering and Technology (CMRCET), Hyderabad, was started by the MGR Educational Society in 2002 in Telangana. The college has offered Engineering and Management programs since its inception at UG and PG levels. The College has its affiliation with JNTU, Hyderabad, for providing B.Tech, M.Tech, and MBA programs with specializations in each.

CMRCET, Hyderabad B.Tech Admissions:

The College has been offering an Engineering program at the undergraduate level with four specializations for four years. The students must have a primary education 10+2 in PCM as compulsory subjects with 50% marks. The Admission process will be based on the TS EAMCET exam score that the Telangana Govt conducts. The students with another equivalent examination score that the Telangana Govt recognizes. are also eligible to apply for the B.Tech program.

The college also accepts admission through management quota for students who have at least 50% marks in PCM subjects at the Intermediate level exam that Telangana Govt conducts. Or any other equivalent examination.

  • 30% of the seats in the college are reserved for admission through Management Quota, and 70% of the seats for Admission through the TS EAMCET exam.
  • Management Quota Admission does not consider any admission based on the reservation or any other concession.

CMRCET, Hyderabad M.Tech Admissions:

CMRCET offers an M.Tech program with four specializations for two years. The College has set essential eligibility criteria for students to apply for the M.Tech program, a B.Tech Degree in an applicable discipline with a minimum percentile. The students with AMIE or AMIETE are also treated as eligible to apply for the M.Tech program. The students are supposed to have GATE exam scores and have attended counselling based on the GATE exam score to get admission into the college.

  • The Submission for sponsored seats is provided for five students in each department and two students in each specialization.
  • The Sponsored seats are treated as supernumerary.
  • The students are permanent staff in the agency sponsoring for at least 2 years after qualifying.
  • The government, a reputed private agency, or a public sector should have established the sponsoring agency.

CMRCET, Hyderabad MBA Admissions:

The students seeking admission to the MBA program in the college should have a Bachelor’s Degree with 45% marks from any recognized body and a valid score in the TSICET exam conducted by TSCHE. The MBA program is offered with six specializations for two years.

CMRCET, Hyderabad Application Process:

The students who are interested in CMRCET admission can apply through offline or online mode. If the student wants to apply for any entrance exam, then spread it through the exam’s official website. Students applying for the GATE exam must pay INR 100/- to INR 500/- towards the Application form. The CMRCET Application form has to be submitted to the college along with the necessary documents.

CMR offers MBA in six unique areas of specializations. CMR College of Engineering and Technology Admission require that its candidates should’ve secured a min of 45% average marks in their bachelor’s degree or an equivalent qualification. The candidates are also required to appear for the Telangana state ICET exams and secure a valid score. About 70% of the seats are reserved as per the rank obtained in the ICET. The remaining 30% seats are as per the NRI quota and management quota. The application fee is between INR 100 and INR 500 that can be paid through net banking. Applications can be procured online or offline.

This institute will consider K-PGCET cut-off scores for MBA program selections. The CMR College of Engineering and Technology cut-off through K-PGCET is 8067.


12th STD in biology and tried in NEET, but it was unsuccessful, excepting direct admission in B Tech

Candidates need to have appeared for TS EAMCET as eligibility to get direct admission to B.Tech in CMRCET.
