Chettinad Academy of Research and Education offers UG & PG courses in medical studies. For admission into UG courses like MBBS, BDS; Candidates are supposed to appear for NEET entrance examination and must secure valid score as per the cut off marks in order to get shortlisted for admission. NEET application form can be filled online from the official website and the application fee for general & OBC is INR 1,500 and for SC/ST it is INR 800. Basic eligibility mandatory for admission is that student must have completed 10+2 with PCB as the compulsory subject from a recognised board with at least 50% aggregate marks.

For admission into undergraduate courses like BDS, basic requirement is that, student must have passed 10+2 with minimum 50% aggregate marks with physics, chemistry, biology and English as the compulsory subject from a recognised board, plus candidates must have qualified National eligibility cum entrance test NEET which is conducted by the National testing agency, New Delhi. Mode of application and examination of NEET exam is online. Application form is released mostly in the month of February and the exam is conducted in the month of May. Fees structure for courses is feasible as compare to other colleges, and the scholarships are offered based on the merit.

Do they offer a B.Sc. degree in anesthesia course?

CARE does offer a B.Sc. degree for three years, but they do not provide Anesthesia as their subject option. The available subjects are Nursing, Allied Health Sciences, Genetics, Medical Biotechnology, Medical Bio-Nanotechnology, and Clinical Psychology.
