Chetana RK Institute of Management MMS/MBA Admission

The program offered is a MMS affiliated with the University of Mumbai. This two-year, full-time program combines theory and practical application to prepare individuals for professional roles in the business world.   • The program spans four semesters over two years. The first year, consisting of two semesters, covers a range of General Management courses and introduces specialization courses that continue into the second year.
  • After completing the first year, students engage in a summer internship, where they apply their information through a real-world project in a company they choose.
  • The second year is dedicated to developing expertise in specific specializations, with courses designed to build subject-specific knowledge among participants.
  • In the second year, students can specialize in Marketing, Finance, Operations, IT/Systems, or HR.

Chetana College MBA/MMS Eligibility Criteria

  1. Educational Qualification:
  • Graduated with at least 50% marks in aggregate (45% for backward class candidates from Maharashtra state only) in a Bachelor's Degree program lasting at least 3 years, regardless of the discipline.
  • Alternatively, candidates who have appeared for the final year examination of a Bachelor's Degree program lasting at least 3 years in any discipline recognized by the Association of Indian Universities are also eligible.
  1. Entrance Exam:
  • Candidates should have appeared for the competent authority's Common Entrance Test (MAH-MBA/MMS-CET).
  • Alternatively, candidates who have appeared for any other examination like CAT, MAT, or CMAT, as mandated by the competent authority, are also considered.

CRKIMR Mumbai Admission Process for MMS

The institute's Chetana College MBA admission process is overseen by the Admission Regulating Authority (ARA) under the Directorate of Technical Education (DTE), State Government of Maharashtra. The institute adheres to all the guidelines and regulations mandated by the government, which may evolve to ensure a transparent admission process.

The total intake for the course is distributed across various categories as follows:

  • Seats Admitted through the Common Admission Process (CAP) conducted by DTE - 96
  • Seats are Admitted through the Chetana College Mumbai Management quota/ Institute Level based on the inter-se merit list of the MAH-CET scores and the norms prescribed by DTE.
  • Seats Allocated Over and Above the Intake by DTE through the CAP Round:
  • Jammu and Kashmir Quota (J&K Quota) - 1
  • Economically Weaker Sections (EWS) - 12
  • Tuition Fee Waiver Scheme (TFWS) - 6

If seats remain vacant after the CAP rounds or due to cancellations, the institute will fill these seats based on the inter-se merit list of the MAH-CET scores and by the norms prescribed by DTE. It's important to note that the institute does not fill any vacant seats in the TFWS, EWS, and J&K Quota categories.

MMS admission in Chetana RK Institute of Management Studies & Research, as per score secured in any entrance exam like CMAT, CAT, and XAT or even through merit basis. Basically through counselling process, one can take admission in this institute and also further few rounds of admission is carried out like Group discussion, document verification along with personal interview. MMS is offered in different branches like Operations, Finance, Marketing, Human resource and Systems but the admission procedure or the process I same through entrance based and left over seats through merit score based. Even through MAHCET score admission can be taken in this institute for MMS course with 2years duration period.
