The Central University of Jammu is a highly regarded institution in the Jammu and Kashmir region of India. It came into existence through the Central Universities Act in 2009. CUJ is offering admission to a program where you can study for a BSc for five years. In order to get into the Integrated B.Sc. programs, applicants need to have achieved a minimum of 50% overall marks or the same level of achievement in their 10+2 exams. This course includes both undergraduate and postgraduate programs.

You need to take the CUET (UG) exam to get into these programs. Moreover, students need to meet the minimum requirements set by the Central University of Jammu CUET cut-off. Central University of Jammu B Tech Admission

If you want to apply for the undergraduate B.Tech at CUJ, you need to meet certain requirements. To take the JEE Main exam, candidates need to show up for it administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA). To get into any B. Tech program, you need to have at least 60% marks or the equivalent on the grading scale of your school or college when you finished 10+2. However, candidates from SC/ST/PwD categories need to score at least 55%. In addition, candidates should have taken Mathematics and Physics in their 10+2 education.

Central University of Jammu MBA Admission

MBA is offered in three different areas of study. To meet the educational requirements, candidates must have completed a three-year Bachelor's Degree from a recognized University. You need to score at least 60% of the total marks to get a Bachelor's Degree. However, for candidates who are from SC/ST categories and persons with disabilities, the minimum percentage requirement is lowered to 55%. Cuet-PG is what determines who gets selected.

The university also takes into account CAT/MAT scores. If candidates meet the requirements and do well on either the Common Admission Test (CAT) or Management Aptitude Test (MAT), they can get admitted.

Central University of Jammu MA Admission

The Central University of Jammu provides a range of MA courses with specific requirements and focus areas.

For most MA programs, students must have a UG degree of at least three years with at least 55% of total marks. Students from the SC ST Quota can have 50% marks. Depending on the student's specialization, they would need specific subjects they have pursued in their bachelor's degree.

For example, if you are applying for an MA in Hindi, then Hindi must be one of your subjects in BA. Whereas if you are going for economics, that has to be your compulsory paper in all semesters or years of your graduation.

Central University of Jammu MSc Admission

Amongst the Central University of Jammu PG Courses,  MSc is quite popular. It is available in three disciplines.

  • Candidates willing to join for MSc in Material Science should have a B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) degree in Physics, Chemistry, Life Sciences and Technology, Material Science, Nanotechnology, or any relevant field, with at least 60% marks.
  • Alternatively, candidates with a B.E./B.Tech. A degree in a relevant subject with similar marks is also eligible.
  • The M.Sc  Environmental Sciences program requires candidates to hold a B.Sc./B.Sc. (Hons.) degree from a recognized university with no less than 60% marks in Zoology, Botany, Chemistry, Physics, Life Science, or Earth Sciences.
  • For the M.Sc Mathematics program, candidates should have a Bachelor's Degree (10+2+3) with Mathematics/Applied Mathematics as one of the subjects.

Central University of Jammu Integrated BA+B.Ed Admission

To get into the Central University of Jammu B.Ed Integrated program, you need to have good grades and do well on the entrance exam called CUET. To be eligible for this course, you just need to have completed high school from a recognized board. Candidates need to have at least 50% marks out of the total in their 10+2 exams. Applicants need to have a good academic background before they can join the program.

Central University of Jammu M Tech Admission

CUJ is accepting applications for the M-Tech program in Computer Science & Technology. You just need to have a bachelor's degree in CS, information technology, or electronics or a master's degree in computer science or IT.

Candidates in the General and OBC categories need to have a minimum of 60% marks in their qualifying degree. However, candidates in the SC/ST/PwD categories are given some leeway, as they only need a minimum of 55%. It's important to mention that candidates who have passed the GATE will be given priority during the admission process.

Central University of Jammu M.Ed Admission

You can get into the M.Ed. program by taking the CUET entrance exam. Candidates must have 55% marks in the specified programs from a recognized university or institution. However, SC/ST candidates and PWD are eligible with a relaxation of 50%. You would also need to have a Bachelor of Education (B.Ed.) or Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree. Alternatively, you could have a B.Ed./B.Sc degree, B.Ed./B.Com degree, B.Ed. or B.El.Ed degree, or a D.El.Ed degree with an undergraduate degree (with 55% marks each). A merit list of top performers will be published online.

Suppose you want to get into B.Voc, you have to pass the CUET-UG exam. Applicants need to have at least 45% marks in their 10+2 education from a recognized board to be eligible. Also, they need to meet the minimum requirement. There are various types of qualifications based on the level of certification in NSQF (National Skills Qualifications Framework), vocational training, and traditional schooling background. When deciding who gets into the program, vocational subjects are treated at the +2 level, the same as other subjects.

The Central University of Jammu CUET is mandatory for MBA admissions, and the cut-off is 240.

Central University of Jammu admission fee of MBA will be INR 4,000. The admission fee shall be included in the total MBA fee structure. The complete fee of MBA is around INR 45,800.

    MBA Admissions at Central University, Jammu the Eligibility criteria and the Selection Process for MBA program is that:

  • Candidates who are applying to MBA program at the Central University Jammu should have an aggregate of 50% marks in the Bachelor’s degree from any University which is recognized.
  • UPSEE/MAT/GMAT/CMAT valid scores required in getting admissions to Central University Jammu. 
  • MBA program Admissions will be as per the candidate’s eligibility which fulfills the Central University fixed criteria and the candidate’s performance in their respective entrance exam.
