CIBMRD MBA Admission

The CIBMRD offers a two-year postgraduate MBA course. The annual intake for MBA is 45 seats per stream. The college is affiliated with RTM Nagpur University. Thus, it follows the admission guidelines prescribed by the University.

CIBMRD MBA Eligibility

  • Candidates will be admitted to one of two separate shifts of classes, each with a 45-student annual intake.
  • To be eligible for CIBMRD's MBA course, Applicants must have a bachelor's degree in any of the streams with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  •  Admissions will be dependent on a candidate's performance in the MAH-MBA-CET, a state-level management admission exam.
  • DTE will conduct final admissions through CAP counselling based on entrance exam results.
  • Candidates required to choose their preference as CIBMRD during the option entry round

CIBMRD PhD Admission

For students who have completed a postgraduate degree with a minimum of 50% aggregate, the CIBMRD provides doctoral-level management studies courses.

  • The institute will conduct a PhD Entrance Test (PET) to admit students to the programme.
  • The PET Paper 1 exam will last 90 minutes and will consist of 100 multiple-choice questions.
  • Analytical Reasoning, Numerical Ability, and Language Competency are the three sections of the test.
  • PET Paper 2 will be a two-hour descriptive paper with eight questions, of which candidates must answer five.
  • The written admission exam is waived for candidates who have passed the GATE/ SET/ NET/ JRF exams.

CIBMRD UG Admission

  • In addition to the PG courses, CIBMRD offers UG degrees in management & commerce courses. Furthermore, it provides B.Com and BBA programme that are open to those who have completed their Higher Secondary exams with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
  • Admission to the B.Com and BBA programme will be based on merit.
  • Candidates from reserved categories are eligible for a 5% grade reduction in the qualifying exam.
  • The selection of the candidates for UG courses in CIBMRD will be based on the student's performance in the last qualifying exam. Then, based on 10+2 scores, the final merit list will be prepared.

CIBMRD Application Process

  • Candidates willing to apply for MBA admission at CIBMRD must apply through CAP Counselling.
  • At first, candidates must visit the official website of DTE Maharashtra.
  • On the home page of DTE, click the "click here for new registration" link.
  • Create an account, DTE home page with a valid email address and phone number.
  • Then enter the phone number and email address, candidates will receive a login user id and password.
  • Fill out the admissions form after logging in. Then, upload scanned copies of your signature and photo.
  • Make a payment for the application cost.
  • The application fee for the MBA programme at CIBMRD is INR 1000 for general category students and INR 800 for reserved category candidates.
  • Submit the application and keep a copy of the payment slip and form for the next step in the admissions process.
