Caarmel Engineering College is located in Pathanamthitta, Kerala. The college was established in 2002 and is affiliated with MGU, Kottayam Kerala. AICTE approves the courses offered by CEC. The college gives admission to the B Tech at the UG level. In addition, the college provides M Tech and MBA at the PG level. Admission at the Caarmel College is based on the candidate's score obtained in the entrance test. Caarmel Engineering College B.Tech Admissions

  • The Caarmel College offers B Tech admission in six disciplines with an annual intake of 60 seats.
  • For admission to B Tech, students must appear for KEAM and obtain a desirable rank as equivalent to the Caarmel College's KEAM Cut off requirement.
  • In addition, students must score above 45% in the 10+2 science stream. The selection of the candidates will be based on the entrance exam score as well as academic merit.

Caarmel Engineering College M.Tech Admissions

The students who are willing to take admission to the M Tech course at CEC must have done their UG degree BE/B Tech or equivalent from a recognized institute. While the selection criteria for M Tech depends on the GATE score. M Tech at Caarmel College is available in four branches, and the annual intake is 18 seats.

  • The student must appear for exams like CAT, KMAT or XAT. Then, based on the aggregate marks and entry test score, admission will be granted for MBA.

I wish to say it is the best college for pursuing BE/ B Tech Course and also the admission fee over here is very nominal and I paid around 50k every year and total fee charges around 2 Lakhs. Caarmel Engineering College admissions for BE/B Tech will be based on KEAM and even I got admission on the basis of entrance exam and secured good rank and then through counseling I got seat allotment in this college. CEC Scholarship facility is provided for the meritorious candidates based on the academic score and even facilitates scholarship for the backward classes and financial weaker sections.
