The college fledgling in the law stream first started spreading its wings in 1963 under the age of BMS educational trust. BMS is approved by the Bar Council of India (BCI) and is affiliated with Karnataka State Law University (KSLU). As a whole, the college offers 4 courses in the stream of law. The courses offered are the LLB program for 3 years and integrated programs such as BA LLB, BBA LLB, and B.Com LLB for 5 years. All these courses are offered at under graduation level. There are no post-graduation level programs available.

  • BMS College of Law admission to LLB 3 years the eligibility required is to obtain a minimum of 45% aggregate marks in the qualifying bachelor’s degree exam to become eligible for entry. Through a bachelor’s degree, merit basis LLB admissions will be granted.
  • For 5 years of integrated admission to BBA LLB, BA LLB, or B.Com LLB in BMS College of Law, candidates must have passed class 12th from any stream with no less than 45% aggregate from a recognized board of education. While there is a college-conducted entrance exam, BMSCLAT and candidates must clear the entrance test followed by a personal interview to get selected for the course.
  • Qualified applicants will receive the admission offer Letter. Students must complete the admission formalities prescribed in the offer letter to proceed with admissions.
  • The BMS College of Law application form for admission to any college program is online/offline. Applicants either in the college's official website, select apply online link and proceed with the process by making an admission fee payment of INR 550. Similarly, applicants shall download the form from the college website, take a printout, fill the form, attach the documents, pay the admission fee as INR 550 via Cheque/online or through demand draft, and send the filled form to the college admission office.

BA LLB is a 5-year integrated program. Students who have completed 10+2 board exams with a minimum of 50% marks can apply for admission to this program. There is no entrance exam needed for admissions.

The eligibility requirement for BA LLB is candidates who have passed Karnataka Pre-University/ with a minimum of 45% aggregate marks. Admission to the courses will be through merit-based counselling, taking into account the candidate’s scores in the qualifying examination.

No, International law is not available in BMS. Candidates must complete the PUC or 10+2 examination from a recognised university/ institution with a minimum of 45 percent marks to be eligible for the BA-LLB and B.Com-LLB programmes (integrated five years). Candidates must have graduated from a recognised university with a minimum of 45 percent in order to be considered for admission to the LLB programme (three years) at BMS. The merit in the qualifying examination determines admission to the Integrated LLB and three-year LLB programmes. Candidates in the reserved category receive a 5% discount. Candidates have the option of submitting their applications both offline and online.
