BK Birla Institute B.Tech eligibility criteria

The applicants will be considered to apply in the B.Tech course at BKBIET if they pass the below-mentioned eligibility criteria laid down by the institute and RTU, Kota.

  • The candidates applying for the B.Tech course at BK Birla College should have passed any 10+2 or HSC equivalent board examination.
  • The mandatory subjects at the HSC level should be Mathematics and Physics along with Biology/ Chemistry/ biotechnology/ computer science/ or any technical or vocational courses.
  • The applicants must score a minimum of 45% marks in aggregation.
  • A relaxation of 5% aggregate marks will be offered for the candidates belonging to the reserved category.
  • For the B.Tech lateral entry at BK Birla College, the applicants must have passed a Diploma level degree program conducted in the relevant stream.
  • The candidates have to score at least 45% marks in all subjects added to the Polytechnic exam.
  • The candidates must have secured non-zero marks in the entrance exam.

BK Birla Institute B Tech selection criteria

  • The applicants seeking admission in the B.tech course at BK Birla College should appear in the common entrance exam JEE-mains.
  • B Tech Selection Criteria at BK Birla College will be based on the marks secured in JEE Main, followed by REAP Counselling.
  • Candidates have to fill the REAP Counselling registration form to undergo counselling. Based on JEE Main score, candidates are required to register.
  • By evaluating JEE Main score and 10+2 marks, the counselling authority will prepare the B Tech REAP merit list. It will display the merit list on its official website.
  • Candidates whose names are featured in the merit list can participate in counselling rounds such as Option filling, seat allotment rounds etc.
  • The shortlisted students will have to report at the BK Birla Institute campus to complete the further admission rounds.
  • The candidates applying for the B.Tech lateral course at BK BIET will be done through LEEP counselling.
  • There are 3 categories of admission process in BK Birla College. 70% of seats are reserved for Rajasthan Domicile Candidates applying through REAP Counselling based on JEE Main rank.
  • 15% of seats are reserved for Outsiders (AIQ); they will be admitted based on JEE score. As well, the seat allocation takes place via counselling itself.
  • The remaining 15% of seats will be allotted for B Tech admission under Management Quota in BK Birla  College.
  • Candidates applying for Direct admission in BK Birla College must download the application form available at the college's main website. The B Tech application fees in BK Birla College  cost INR 1000/-

The mode of application for BKBIET will be accepted online by visiting the institute's official website. They must have passed in 10+2 with JEE Main scores.

BK Birla Institute of Engineering & Technology selections for B-Tech program are based on academic merit followed with JEE Main score or REAP counselling results.

The BKBIET offers B-Tech admission for those who have completed 10+2 board exams with a min of 50% aggregate along with JEE Main with valid cut-off scores specified by the college.
